Yo! Bike Rave Melbourne at the start of the month was incredible, but waiting a whole year for the next one is too long.

I want to start something way more casual. I’ve put together a WhatsApp group for spontaneous social rides. The vibe is super low-key: if it’s a nice day or evening and people are feeling social, we can just grab our bikes, bring some speakers, drop a message in the group, and see who wants to roll out!

Melbourne had it's big bike rave few weeks ago.

And I want to improve my setup!

The problem: when turned up high, I was hitting the current limit of the converter and it sounded bad.

The setup: Behringer 40w to a drill battery via buck converter

Solution: cap bank, to power through the bass hits, got myself some low esr capacitors, and put them on a board.

Ran out of wire, so not done just yet.

I've got a AliExpress special 70v/20a buck converter so I can power it off the bike battery (60v 22ahr)
