I have an issue to pick with you.

The strike is Governor Kathy Hochul fault, how? LIRR said the union is asking for way too much money. If they got it all, they will have to raise fare.

Blakeman. Long Islanders do not want the LIRR fare increased.

MTA President and Kathy Hochul are aligned together: the unions are asking for too much. If they get what they want, the fare is going to increase and LIRR riders will pay more.

Blakeman: this is Kathy Hochul fault.

Blakeman: Give the Union what they’re asking for.

Blakeman: Let the riders suffer the consequences.

And Blakeman, I have another question (you think residents are stupid) …. Why haven’t you ordered NICE busses to run their buses to Jamaica Station to assist the LIRR shuttles?

If the Union got more money (atop of what they already agreed to), do you want to pay more in LIRR fares? You all complained about the last fare increase. So, do you want another increase?

I will start this by saying…. I said what I said.

As an independent voter, I spent years analyzing both parties: democrats and republicans.

Republicans feel defeated, and so they want to win. Therefore, each time democrats hold the thrown, Republicans will hate them no matter if they’re doing something good for the people.

New York wants independence from NYC. And realistically, it’s impossible for that to happen. Thousands of New York residents work and own businesses in NYC, and if you disqualify New York City (as many wish they can do), it would create a disastrous downfall for all those around the big-five-boroughs.

Kathy Hochul and no politician would ever do that.

The hate between older generations based on party lines is disgusting. And young adults, like myself, are the reason why politicians like Mayor Zohran Mamdani won in New York City. We are sick and tired of you destroying your own lives based on politics.

Like some of you want Blakeman to win - how serious can you be? He will not make your life better or worse. And he cannot upheld New York City and take away powers from any government official. In fact, he would work with them to make the city and state better.

But some of you are so hardcore tied into hate that you think Blakeman winning NYC will see the end of Zohran Mamdani, end of crime, end of taxes, and a bunch of other unrealistic ideas, like banning scooters. It’s NYC, it’s NYS, you cannot BAN scooters. And Blakeman is giving you false promises.

Kathy Hochul is not a bad governor. And it hurts many of your feelings to see that more and more people actually agree she’s working hard to put New York City & New York in the right place. If Blakeman was in her position, there’s not much he would do that would be drastically differently. The main difference is conservatives would think they’re winning again.

On be half of young adults, please stop destroying your lives because a democrat is in office. And stop destroying your livelihood because a conservative wants to win NY.

First off, Blakeman cannot win governor without flipping NYC red. And Kathy Hochul is highly respected in New York City and in some parts of Long Island.

This is my unpopular opinion!

I work a corporate job here in New York City, and before my meeting started, our director mentioned his future plans to travel to the Caribbean. "I saw that iShowSpeed visited the Caribbean island. Now, all my kids are begging me to travel."

Right there. That's the point. iShowSpeed has influences across the world with a large audience that Jamaica has never seen before. Social media is powerful, and we're getting ready to see how iShowSpeed's influence helps Jamaica generate more tourism dollars and local sales with the younger generation.

Across social media, iShowSpeed videos are generating views. Here, in New York City, radio stations were speaking about his travels throughout the Caribbean. Instagram, many reposting pictures of his visit including my friends of Spanish descent, people who never once visited the country.

KFC and Tastee has touched the market worldwide on social media. Young adults will want to try the food, visit Bob Marley's museum, and engage with the Jamaican culture.

And what some older generational adults are choosing to disqualify - the MILLIONS of people each day that iShowSpeed generated in viewership on his videos from around the entire world.

Do not sleep on this. The effect of iShowSpeed to the Caribbean is influential. Fingers crossed!

Penn Station was shut down, and Grand Central quickly became overcrowded.

Could the LIRR have temporarily suspended direct service from Grand Central to Long Island destinations and instead operated all trains as local shuttles to Jamaica (stopping at Woodside/Forest/KewGardens)?

Passengers could then transfer at Jamaica or Woodside to trains serving destinations across Long Island.

Running destination-specific departures out of Grand Central appeared to create significant platform congestion, with large crowds waiting for particular trains. A shuttle operation may have reduced some of that chaos by allowing passengers to board the next available train and make connections farther east.

At Grand Central, as one shuttle train arrives, the other departs. It would be constant movement which would reduce the congestion on the station.

I obviously cannot tell a person to STFU on the train, only if they’re being rude and directed at me.

But with all due respect, some of you on the morning commute really talk way too much. And I would love to tell you to STFU.

I have so much respect for people but some of you with your morning commute groups, you travel all the way to Grand Central laughing your asses off, totally disregarding all those around you.

What makes matters worst, I have noise canceling headphones and some of you are way too loud, I can still hear you.

I find it disrespectful. I find it rude. How do you get on a train and start chatting like you’re inside a bar. You enter the train and start chatting above normal noise levels.

Another issue, some of you that play games on your phone. Turn the volume down! Why on earth do you think everyone around you wants to hear your stupid candy crush audio?

And your phone conversations on speaker? Just why? Why do you want others in your business?

Like, honestly, I don’t care who you are. But have some respect for all those around you. Some of us just want to read and listen to their audio in their ears in peace.

Take this advice: STFU.

Dentist suggests that I get night guards to stop teeth grinding at nights. They didn't provide me with any over-the-counter options to purchase.

The office can make one with a lab. However, the out-of-pocket cost is not an option I'm considering. My insurance company have 2-4 weeks to respond to the authorization.

As of today (04/29), we’re two weeks away from the Subway Series in Queens. Eleven weeks out from the All-Star Game, and twelve weeks until the Dodgers come to Queens. The regular season will wrap up with September baseball, including a stop in the Bronx at Yankee Stadium, before finishing in Queens and closing things out on the road.
