Insourcing interview questions

I was just notified that I have an interview later today and I was wondering, for those who have been through the insourcing process, if there are standard interview questions, or if you can remember some specific questions you were asked?

Edit: I fat-thumbed the flair - this is not intern-related.

Edit 2: the questions they asked me were behavioral type questions but modified to pertain to this specific position so I was mostly able to utilize the stories I typically use.

ALL Philly cops are skinny and can run fast!?

Edit: I love that half of you mouth breathers can't understand that this is a shitpost.

Rant about the family next to us

I was at a restaurant last night with my family and soon after being seated, another family with older and younger children sat down to eat a few tables away. I only caught part of the conversation (because I have the ability to mind my own business lol) but my wife was sure to catch me up on what I missed.

apparently the young boy, no older than seven, ordered a meal he had never tried before and ended up not liking it. the mom started berating him about making a poor decision, wasting money, and she's going to force him to pay for it himself - and then she enlisted the help of the teenage son in scolding the younger son. it just went on and on and on.

another part of the conversation revolved around the teen girl eating one of the younger kids chicken nuggets and the girl was called a loser (not jokingly) because of it?

everything I was able to hear was said in a tone of voice that lacked basic respect. I feel bad that the kids' upbringing is so dysfunctional; if this is how the mother behaves in public, I can't even imagine what happens at their home behind closed doors.

ultimately I chose not to say anything to the mother because nothing was overly abusive, and I don't even know what I would say to her. she probably wouldn't be very receptive to what I would have to say.

I'm not perfect by any means and I often reflect on ways I could have handled situations better, but seeing this type of behavior firsthand in another family - in public - is disheartening.

so this is a reminder to be better. be like Bandit & Chili.

Damaged Cello - Repair vs Replacement

My teen's four year old MC-75 ($1,700 new) needs $500+ of work including new strings, bridge repair/replacement, and there's damage to the rib. The cheapest repair out of several estimates is $500. There's an exact same model with "upgraded strings and bridge" on Marketplace for $500 and seems to be in great condition.

What's the smart play?

ABA Therapy Location Coverage

trying to get ABA therapy for my son. anthem claims only in-clinic is covered under my plan, but initial talks with the therapist claims the Anthem rep doesn't know what they're talking about, and the location is irrelevant - that my son would be covered for in-home as well as in-school services as well.

this is all making me extremely confused and upset. any body have any clarific6on this? thank you.

Season End Music Appreciation + spoiler

reposting due to an improper flair.

I'm new to the sub even though I've been watching from the beginning - so pardon me if this has been said a thousand times before.

But they absolutely fucking nail the music right at the end of every season. The period music coupled with the (typical) ultra zoom-outs just hits you right in the feels. Jennifer Pyken needs a raise.

Here's the list in case anyone needs a TLDR:

S1 Everybody Wants To Rule the World

S2 Come As You Are

S3 Everything In Its Right Place

S4 Midnight City

S5 Blinding Lights

SOILER AHEAD

Also, did anybody else cry like a little bitch when they killed off >!Ed Baldwin!< this season?

Elite Pro Floodlight Mounting Height?

I bought four Elite Pro Floodlights but I'm having trouble deciding on how high to mount them. My initial thought was mount them under my 2nd story eaves, but I'm worried about losing brightness and detection capability. Reolink support claims there's no height restriction, but I've seen general advice online that says 7'-10' ? So I'm unsure what to do. Thanks.

Need a 17+" with lots of ram and storage - not a gaming rig, <$2,000 US

So far it looks like my options are an ASUS Vivobook 17 or 18, LG Gram, or a refurb Dell? Not looking for a gaming laptop. No Macs.

Country US

Budget $1,000-$2,000 USD

Are you open to refurbs/used options? yes

Screen size 17"-18" ONLY

Weight limit Preferably under 5lbs, but not a huge deal

Purpose General purpose. streaming. multiple tabs. downloading large media files.

Form factor standard

Intended usage taking back and forth from office to home. No gaming. mainly web browsing, youtube, netflix, sailing the high seas.

Desired battery life 3+ hours? My current laptop's battery only gives 1.5 hours, so literally anything will be an upgrade.

Please list, in order of most important to least important, the priority between Size, Weight, Performance, Battery life weight, battery life, performance, size

Info/Requirements MUST have a backlit keyboard, 24+Gb RAM, and 2+TB SSD. shell must be made well as I would like it to last 7 years (age of my current laptop which is literally falling to pieces). Prefer i7 processor or better.

EZ Pass Readers at the END of an Express Lane?

Why are there EZ Pass readers at the end of the express lane on I-64E at Bowers Hill? Does it currently have a purpose or is it just there for a future use/additional lane? This is the only location I'm aware of that has readers at the END of an express lane.

Looking for a Security Camera Installer/Network/Low Voltage Tech

I'm having a hell of a time finding someone to install some PoE security cameras and associated equipment that I've already purchased. I originally was working with a local guy, but he's become unresponsive. Any recommendations? Thanks,
