I have a Synology 2 day NAS. A couple of years ago I tried to update the OS and now I'm locked.out.

The NAS is configured in RAID 1, so I'm wondering if I can take a drive out and read it from a non- NAS enclosure,.such as a USB drive.

Is this possible?

Or what happens if I take the drives out and plug them into another NAS?

Whats my easiest / best pather forward to get access?

I need to disable ADB and install Downloader.

What security issues are associated with this?

Also, if I re-enable ADB after the installations that I need, will I have any residual security issue, or issues such as Apps not updating?

Do these actions in any way compromise security on any other devices on this network, such as PCs, phones etc...?

Our Roomba has a habit of starting up without request, doing a bit of a tour, then stops and waits til it's battery dies.

I needed to replace a barrel on a campervan lock, so bought barrel and barrel remover key from same company.

I pushed the key into barrel and it now will not remove. Did I mess this up somehow?

Any advice on how to remove the key and get this installed?

I want to purchase a video doorbell, one that o can connect my mobile phone to over my local WiFi. But, I do not want the devices to connect to the Internet (I do not want my kids images going to places I do not wish, I'm thinking ai training is a likelihood).

Is there such a device?

I've a load of grapes on the vine that are now turning. I've not decided what to do with them, but they're splitting and attracting huge amount of flies and wasps.

In short I need them off the vines, cleaned and immediately preserved (i might make jam or something later).

Can I pull them off, clean, then freeze? Should I blitz in a food processor before freezing?

Of am i barking up the wrong tree?

I think Q4 I'll start a ZZP arrangement, but in interim I need a laptop, which i currently don't own.

Is it possible to buy now and claim as tax deductible later after the ZZP is established?

I find it unlikely, but always best to ask.

Today I saw a German camper with exceptional door hanging storage. Loads of space and compartments for all the small things that you need when camping. They said it was a Lidl bathroom organiser.
