Hi everyone! I just got contacted by the elephant department at my local zoo set up an interview for the elephant internship I applied for. I’m pretty nervous for it and I don’t want to be unprepared so does anyone have any insight on questions I’ll probably be asked or have any tips? Thanks!!

I just had my first zoo internship interview but idk how to feel about it. I stuttered quite a bit throughout it due to nerves but other than that I think I had decent answers to their questions. At the end of the interview when I asked questions one of them said “I really love how into husbandry you are” so hopefully that’s a good sign. I really want this job but I’m afraid I messed it up because of how nervous I was💔 I was able to answer all the questions, it just took a bit of stumbling and messing up to get there lmao

Has anyone here ever interned or worked for the animal ambassador team at the cincinnati zoo? I just applied for it but the description doesnt tell me much.. it only says i’ll work with 125+ species and then lists about 4 of them lol. just wondering if anyone knows what other animal species or tasks the job will consist of! thanks☺️

I just recently sent in an application to them for one of their internships but they give no detail on how long it will take to get back to you. I sent in the application the day it was posted about a week ago. I’m not saying I expect them to get back to me immediately!! just want to know how long i should expect to wait😁 Also how difficult is it to get an internship with them? They rarely ever post internship openings so im a bit anxious about the competitiveness and difficulty. Thanks !!

My dream is to get into the CAP internship but i’m nervous my 5is years of experience isn’t enough to get it. i’m an incoming uni sophomore majoring in animal biology. I really want to know how competitive it is and if i even stand a chance to get in with this resume and cover letter. the internship is paid, it’s about 3k for 14 weeks.

I’m also trying to apply for the Night Hunters exhibit and there’s no link to apply, but when i go to the application submission thing it IS listed as one of the options so that also has me a bit confused. thank you!
