“Wear your retainer they said”
I don’t want to hear it because I’ve worn this thing after spending $5k and having 3 grueling years of upper expansion, IPR and SO SOOO MANY rubber bands to rotate and pull these canines down. But why am I now just learning that the Hawley retainers can pull canines up? I went to monthly and yes MONTLY appointments after for retainer checkups and my ortho said absolutely nothing about this being an issue. I wore it for a straight year like I was supposed to. After I got permission I was only wearing it at night for 10 hours. Why why why wasn’t I warned about this because these two teeth were by far the worst thing to get into place and now I’m going to have to be in braces again not knowing how much or how long it’s going my to take. My last appointment over a year ago the assistant tells me yes this happened sometimes?!!! I’m angry
