Zion National Park - hiking solo

I have an opportunity to go to Zion for a weekend in September but my usual travel buddy can't go with me. I'm a hiker and usually don't like going alone but I'm also postpartum and desperately need a trip like this. Is it too dangerous to do alone?

I wouldn't camp, which makes me feel a like safer.

Baby has very stinky gas when supplimenting with formula

I've been sick 3 times in a month and have been fighting to keep my supply up. We've been having to use formula and I've notified that's when baby gets really gassy and his farts could clear a room. I had no idea someone so small could create smells this bad.

He's always had reflux and gas issues even without formula. But it gets so much worse with formula!

We use Similac advance and I'm thinking of trying something else. Anyone else had similar tummy troubles with Similac advance or other formulas? What's the best for a sensitive tummy and stinky toots? The stink is always accompanied with pain so I know the stink is only a sign his system doesn't agree with the formula.

Looking for non-fiction books about hauntings and haunted places

Title says it! I love spooky shit and audiobooks keep me alive at work. Not looking for true crime but if it's related to the haunting that's ok. Thanks in advance.

Could I get photos of your "strength" cards?

My sister in law just went through a serious health situation and wants to get a tattoo to help process the trauma. I recommended a lion which I got from the strength card and I'm looking to give her a variety of designs to choose from.

If you have a spare moment and could take a nice photo of the art on your strength card, I'd appreciate it!

3 illnesses in a row and constantly trying to get supply back

I'm competitive exhausted. Im a "just enough" supplier this time. A month ago I had salmonella, and now I've had 2 back to back colds and my supply is really struggling. Baby is 6 months btw. I supplement with formula but only when necessary. I've been taking Mucinex for a brutal chest cold and though it's supposedly not supposed to reduce supply I think it has. Every other day I think my supply is ok for it to suddenly drop hard the next day. I drink coconut water and try to eat allot of protein but it never seems like enough. I'm not sleeping because I'm coughing so damn much and I pump overnight. I just feel like I've been fighting with myself for a solid month. And being a just enough supplier was already stressful enough.

I'm partially coming here to vent but I'll take advice too.

Getting a scope tomorrow. How much will it hurt?

I had a baby in December and I've had unexplained trace and visible blood in my urine since my 3rd trimester. I still have trace blood and am getting a bladder scope tomorrow. (Already had a CT and ultrasounds).

No one has really told me how painful the scope will be and if I'll be able to go back to work after. I've been dreading it, though I gave birth unmedicated, I imagine a tube in my urethra to be a different kind of pain.

Also, I'm no doctor but I don't see the point of the scope if I've already had a CT and ultrasounds. Please someone tell me it's worth it to have all of this done and why.

Much appreciated. ♥️

Just found out I also have a hernia

I'm 5mo post partum and have a 2 finger gap. This is my 2nd pregnancy. I also had polyhydrominos (sp?-too much fluid) Baby was also 9lbs. This pregnancy just really tore me up.

I did pelvic floor PT but I wasn't finding it helpful and I was also admittedly not great about the exercises. My low back has been causing me a decent amount of extra pain, so it's all just felt harder. I thought it was from the DR.

I've also been having trace blood in my urine since the 3rd trimester so now I'm on a journey trying to figure out why. I just had a CT scan to look at my kidneys and they happened to also find a small fat filled hernia.

My question is, is the hernia the same as the diastasis recti? Has anyone else had both DR and a hernia? I'm already so beat up physically and this is just such a bummer. It looks like I 100% need surgery now.

5mo with fresh tooth, biting me

My lil guy is cutting his first tooth right now and has started nibbling on my nipple. I'm trying so hard not to scream but holy shit, that's hard. Is the"policy" still to press your breast onto their face with no audible reaction as opposed to pulling away and screaming?

What worked for you?

Sleeping with pillows behind back

I have 2-3 finger diastasis. I had my baby 5 months ago and when I was pregnant I had to sleep with a pillow behind my back so I wouldn't roll onto my back. And now I'm uncomfortable from the low back pain that comes with diastasis, when I sleep and still use a pillow. My pelvic floor PT wasn't sure if that might be a problem or not. Wondering if anyone here has more knowledge. I'm turning into quite the princess and the pea because sleep isn't even comfortable with breastfeeding and diastis. Is it ok to keep sleeping like this?
