I am strongly considering using an ai receptionist for a number of reasons - I can’t handle the calls myself, training receptionists in the past have been tremendously difficult due to the technical nature of my business. We miss calls all the time. Humans are super slow, etc

How has your experience been? Are you booking more (because it answers all calls), are a lot of people hanging up?

Out of the box AIR are bad but some allow you to fine tune your AIR really well and it gets close to human speaking, reasoning and behavior.

For context I had a ton of people on my post complain that my $40k-$50k pay for an entry level skill-less position is not enough. That I should be paying my employees a living wage ($60k+). Think receptionist, delivery driver, warehouse associate, babysitter or admin assistant

I read so many horror stories about Yelp and now tht they're partnered with chatgpt, i'm curious if it'll be worth the jump. Any tips on how to stay on Yelps good side?

One employee is suffering from long term concussion symptoms - he works less than 20 hours per week (accident on personal time), then another quit because i'm not in the shop enough (i'm dealing with overwhelming amount of admin work, WFH because we dont have an office space at the shop). I hired a new guy, he gave his 2 week notice and 3 days after he was supposed to start working for me, he tells me he accepted a job elsewhere and now i have to start over. Just last night, my VA said she can't work starting immediately because her bf kicked her out and moving in with her family would make it impossible for her to work from home due to time zone difference (oversees receptionist/dispatcher). I'm down to one employee. My bank account is draining, im drowning in work and i feel like i can't get onto stable ground.

In addition i've been dealing with google ads issues this entire time. Neither myself nor other agencies/freelancers were able figure out what was causing said issues - it put a severe strain on the business (I believe this problem has been fixed as of this month - too soon to tell) .... Anyone else been in this situation? Any advice?

I was once so burned by an ad agency that I decided to teach myself. I'm at the point that I can't handle the workload in tandem with my other responsibilities and i know enough to know that i don't know what i don't know.

I recently started looking for help. Im on Fiverr, Upwork, and searching on an LLM to find solo freelancers. Everyone I try to vet gives me push back and attitude. I'm currently facing an issue with my ads so naturally i'm asking each manager if they have experienced my issue. In addition I ask who owns the ads, what do the first 30 days look like/what should i expect, are you going to pause my current camps and start a new, can you provide a case study or tell me how you'll be able to help.

is it really too much to ask for proof of competency.. I just want someone who can help and not fuck around
