This was totally unexpected and sweet and I’m blown away by the thoughtfulness of the folks at Chewy. I seriously teared up reading the note and seeing this portrait. Best surprise ever and we are fans for life 🖤🤍

I worked so hard on these. Spraying Bt, netting, hunting caterpillars etc. yes I know they’re kind of close together but they’re small and I DONT CARE.

I was so surprised to see the color difference between my face and neck, but dear reader there is no makeup on my forehead so is this just a matter of getting more color on my neck and chest area?

And where am I supposed to put blush? I usually wear it high near my temples but brought it a little lower on the cheekbones here.

There’s also nothing on my lips except Aquaphor because I don’t know how to deal with the lip line situation or what colors to wear. What even is my undertone?

I’ve been wearing makeup since middle school but mostly black wing eyeliner and mascara. Only in the last ~5 years have I dipped a toe into foundation and eyeshadow. My eyebrows have fully recovered from the 2000s thin eyebrow but they’ve always been this light. Sometimes I use a brow gel in the evening. I’m 43 and use Exposed Skincare and Beauty of Joseon SPF daily.

Concealer: It Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye 33.5 Tan Natural using a concealer brush
Blush: Revlon Insta-Blush 310 Candy Kiss using a far brush
Mascara: Maybelline Full n’ Soft Waterproof Very Black
For shine: Laura Mercier Translucent Honey using a small fluffy brush mostly on my forehead and tzone
Setting Spray: Urban Decay All Nighter Vitamin C Cactus Flower Water

After this photo I added Nars tinted moisturizer, a mix of Auckland Medium 2 and Mykonos Medium 0 to my neck and chest lol.
