Instead of uninstalling Swiggy, I ended up writing to the CEO.

I was doing one of those "I'm finally going to clean my phone" sessions today.
Deleted a bunch of apps I haven't touched in months. Then I reached Swiggy.
As I was about to uninstall it, I noticed something I'd somehow never seen before:

"Write to the CEO."

I just stared at it for a second.

Is this actually real?

Do people genuinely use it? More importantly... does anyone on the other side actually read those messages?
Curiosity got the better of me.

Instead of uninstalling the app, I opened that option and wrote the CEO a completely unnecessary but heartfelt review of the last samosa I ordered. I rated it like it was a Michelin inspection, suggested a "Samosa Quality Index" for every restaurant, and ended by asking if I could be appointed as Swiggy's official Chief Samosa Inspector.
Then I hit Send.

Will anyone read it? Probably not.

Will it change anything? Definitely not.

But the fact that there's a button that lets you casually write to the CEO while you're trying to uninstall the app is strangely fascinating.

Now I'm half hoping someone at Swiggy opens that message and spends at least five seconds wondering who approved my internet access.

House Hunting in Bangalore is a Full-Time Job... And I'm Already Working Two. 🥲

I never thought finding a home would be harder than planning a wedding.
I'm M27, married to my girlfriend (now my wife ❤️) after being together for 11 years. We got married a couple of years ago, and today we're blessed with the cutest little son who has completely changed our lives.

Both of us are working professionals. My wife has been on maternity leave, but that chapter is coming to an end next month. Since both our offices are in Bangalore (Whitefield and Ecospace, Bellandur), it's finally time for us to move.

Simple enough, right?

Not even close.

For the last few weeks, I've been searching for a rental home along the Purple Line—somewhere between KR Puram and Kadugodi Tree Park. Our biggest priority is commute. Metro and bus connectivity matter the most because we don't want to spend our lives stuck in traffic.

The second non-negotiable? A good gated society.

Not because we're being picky, but because my wifu has made one thing very clear—standalone buildings are a big NO. 😂 We want a place with good vibes, that's family-friendly and feels safe.

I even took the NoBroker Premium plan, hoping it'd make life easier. But somehow, the relationship manager keeps sharing properties that completely miss our commute requirements.

At this point, house hunting itself feels like a second job.

Then I tried the old-school method—roaming around and checking properties myself.

That's when reality hit even harder.

Some owners have expectations that honestly left me speechless. The rents being quoted are unreal. And then comes the classic 10% rent increase every year.

I'm just standing there thinking...

"Dude... my company doesn't even give me a 10% hike every year." 😭

I can't really blame the owners though. It's their property, and they're free to charge whatever they feel is right.

But that doesn't make this process any less exhausting.

If you've been through Bangalore house hunting, you probably know what I'm talking about. It slowly drains your energy, tests your patience, and somehow manages to occupy every conversation in your life.

I'm hoping we find a place soon.

And if you're also in the middle of this endless search, I genuinely hope you find a place that feels like home. Wishing you all the patience, strength, and a little bit of luck.

Now I need your help.

If you know good localities between KR Puram and Kadugodi Tree Park that have:

Good metro/bus connectivity
Family-friendly gated societies
Spacious, non-congested apartments
Budget around ₹30K + maintenance
1/2/3 BHK (any works)
...please drop your suggestions.
Also, if you have any house-hunting tips, hacks, broker contacts, or your own Bangalore rental horror stories, I'd love to hear them.

I'll keep you all updated on how this journey goes.

Until then...

Happy house hunting. May the rental gods be kinder to us. 🏠🤞

Looking for flats for Family immediately(Within 20 July max)

Looking for 2BHK or 3BHK flats in gated societies in location near to metro areas approx 800mtrs -1km distance or near to bus stops (Pattandur Agrahara, Kadugodi tree park, Hoodi, garudacharpalya, seetharamplay, Satya Sai, Nallur halli) basically purple line.
Locality and safety matter a lot.
Need a good family society, as I am planning to move with my newly born kid.
Budget: 36-38k including maintenance.
Looking for a long term home.

Hit me up if you know some good places.
Hoping for some good responses.
