[DE] Revolut Pro verification is horrible

Since I was happy with Revolut I thought I gonna use Revolut Pro account to split private finances and finances related for renting out an apartment. But this showed me that Revolut is only working, if it's working. If you need any kind of support Revolut is not recommended. So far I didn't had any contact to the support team but I was surprised how bad it is.
First I asked in the support if Rev Pro is suitable, got okay and opened the account, but then Revolut keep asking for proofs. I provided the property insurance, purchase contract of the apartment and a reference to an website. This screen popped up multiple times, after multiple iterations I talked again to support, they wanted me to repeat, multiple ticked popped up and I tried this almost the entire day.
I lost complete trust in the bank and started to move away some money because now I understand the reviews here on Reddit that it is frustrating if some money is blocked and support is involved.

House Hunting in Bangalore is a Full-Time Job... And I'm Already Working Two. 🥲

I never thought finding a home would be harder than planning a wedding.
I'm M27, married to my girlfriend (now my wife ❤️) after being together for 11 years. We got married a couple of years ago, and today we're blessed with the cutest little son who has completely changed our lives.

Both of us are working professionals. My wife has been on maternity leave, but that chapter is coming to an end next month. Since both our offices are in Bangalore (Whitefield and Ecospace, Bellandur), it's finally time for us to move.

Simple enough, right?

Not even close.

For the last few weeks, I've been searching for a rental home along the Purple Line—somewhere between KR Puram and Kadugodi Tree Park. Our biggest priority is commute. Metro and bus connectivity matter the most because we don't want to spend our lives stuck in traffic.

The second non-negotiable? A good gated society.

Not because we're being picky, but because my wifu has made one thing very clear—standalone buildings are a big NO. 😂 We want a place with good vibes, that's family-friendly and feels safe.

I even took the NoBroker Premium plan, hoping it'd make life easier. But somehow, the relationship manager keeps sharing properties that completely miss our commute requirements.

At this point, house hunting itself feels like a second job.

Then I tried the old-school method—roaming around and checking properties myself.

That's when reality hit even harder.

Some owners have expectations that honestly left me speechless. The rents being quoted are unreal. And then comes the classic 10% rent increase every year.

I'm just standing there thinking...

"Dude... my company doesn't even give me a 10% hike every year." 😭

I can't really blame the owners though. It's their property, and they're free to charge whatever they feel is right.

But that doesn't make this process any less exhausting.

If you've been through Bangalore house hunting, you probably know what I'm talking about. It slowly drains your energy, tests your patience, and somehow manages to occupy every conversation in your life.

I'm hoping we find a place soon.

And if you're also in the middle of this endless search, I genuinely hope you find a place that feels like home. Wishing you all the patience, strength, and a little bit of luck.

Now I need your help.

If you know good localities between KR Puram and Kadugodi Tree Park that have:

Good metro/bus connectivity
Family-friendly gated societies
Spacious, non-congested apartments
Budget around ₹30K + maintenance
1/2/3 BHK (any works)
...please drop your suggestions.
Also, if you have any house-hunting tips, hacks, broker contacts, or your own Bangalore rental horror stories, I'd love to hear them.

I'll keep you all updated on how this journey goes.

Until then...

Happy house hunting. May the rental gods be kinder to us. 🏠🤞

[CA] [Madera]

So basically my boyfriends apartment manager asked him to sign a paper, and they didn’t show him what he was signing, and I would like to know if anyone has any insight on if they have the authority to come into your house twice a week to make sure it’s “clean” because they don’t want other tenants to gets bugs or insects, even though his house isn’t actually dirty. He doesn’t even have ANYTHING in his living room, it’s empty. They told him he just needs to mop, and they were going to replace his blinds, hes also in housing authority, in an apartment and pays $300 rent a month. But is this legal? They said they were going to take pictures and make sure it was clean, but twice a week? This just sounds like an excuse or like they’re trying to do something under his nose. Please give some advice, I want to help him because something is off and regardless this is a form of harassment. And we don’t necessarily know our rights in this situation.
