Would you walk the Unhallowed Paths?

Hi All! I'm working my way through my game 'Unhallowed Paths'. It is a hybrid miniatures and card game. Opponents face off against each other laying a path to victory with cards from their deck, flipping the cards to benefit from their effects. If you ever step foot off the path you will be DOOOOMED.

I've playtested a bunch of times and am having fun with it, there is still work to do. The cards aren't all structured the same way - I liked the idea of each one being somewhat unique. Please let me know your thoughts.

Continuing down Unhallowed Paths

More cards are drawn. More playtests are tested. Now I’m stepping into miniature design.
I’m happy with how playtesting is going, the last round against a real person (and not me playing both sides of the coin) resulted in a large change to the games structure, moving from igougo to alternate activations. The game feels much better now.

I have fallen in love with miniature sculpting and am making attempts are sculpts for the game. I’m aiming for a monster in my pocket 90s toy design. I hope that lands somewhat.

Thanks!

Putting together a front cover and elevator pitch sheet for my game…is it right?

Hi all!

Do these read okay to you as a front cover and sell sheet. Are they too busy, is the wording awful (it is I’m sure), is the right information in the right place, can you suss what kind of game it is?

Cheers!

Further steps on Unhallowed Paths

The journey continues with my hybrid miniatures/card game. I’ve now got a fair few playtests under my belt and I think every one has prompted at least some thoughts on changes. I’m not 50+ cards drawn for the game as well.

And I couldn’t miss an opportunity to playtest with some monsters in my pocket!

The journey begins.

Playtest rules down, a handful of playtests tested. Card art drawn up, excited to keep plugging away at Unhallowed Paths.

Hello all! I'm back with a starter pack of unit cards!

Hi Quar people!

I have uploaded a starter pack of unit cards for Coftys and Crusaders for starter games and demos - I'm still having a lot of fun doing this, and currently you can still snap stuff up for absolutely no pennies.

You can find them here: https://tipigames.itch.io/starter-pack

Let me know what you think, and as always please show me any pics of the cards if you use them in your games!

Learning how to sculpt for a game I’m working on!

I’m interesting to see if people like the style. I know grim dark is the style to go for these days, but I wanted to go for something a little different for the game.

Hi all! I’m currently writing rules for my next game Tread Carefully and I’ve hit a writers block. I’m looking to have 52 unique random encounters in the game, when you get to a new location you draw a card and look what/who is at the location before you play out the game.

And so…

What are peoples favourite random encounter tables, do you like random encounters, what games use random events the best in your opinion?

Thanks!
