Has anyone here had the MitraClip procedure?

What was the outcome? From what I've read and seen on YouTube videos, it narrows the mitral valve opening so there is less regurgitation, but there is still some. What I don't understand is how it wouldn't make it harder for the left Atrium to push blood through the mitral valve into the ventricle, causing stress on the Atrium. Or, am I missing something?

I've also read that there is a high incidence of Afib afterwards that wasn't there before. So would getting the Mitraclip be just trading one problem for another?

whirring noise in my Phonak HA with certain iPhone apps

I'm just on my third day with my Phonak Cros hearing aid. I've noticed that while playing MobilityWare Solitaire on my iPhone there is a constant whirring noise. I've turned off sounds in the settings for Solitaire, but the noise persists. It stops when I close the app. There is a similar background noise with Branium's Freecell, which also stops when I close the app. None of my other apps do this. It's very annoying.

Is there some way to stop this?

My audiologist said my right hear is so far gone that a hearing aid would have to have the sound cranked up so high it would be distorted. She, and the ENT doc, recommended a Cros set up. I've ordered the Phonak Cros, but haven't received them yet.

If you have a Cros setup, what have been the pros and cons?
