First pic is the caterpillar from the first egg I found, preparing to molt! Re: the frassy enclosures, rest assured that everyone here gets daily leaf changes + cleaning, and actually more frequent ones once they get big and more demanding. They just happen to be nonstop poop machines

Dad took one look at the picture of the corrupt lawyer I pulled up to explain a drawing I did today and said "oh, he's an obvious Matthew Barney reference" when I mentioned that no one knows why he looks like that. Did some research and I'll be damned, our legal lad here is a dead ringer for the Loughton Candidate from the Matthew Barney movie Cremaster 4.

She raises caterpillars every summer to release as butterflies, and usually finds plenty of eggs in her garden. For whatever reason this year has been pretty slow on the uptake and it's been stressing her out, so I've been keeping my eye out at local parks and the like. Couldn't believe my luck!
