Aluminum vs. Carbon Fiber Selfie Stick for an Action Cam

Hey everyone!

I'm looking to buy a selfie stick for my action camera (Action Cam 4), and I'm trying to decide between two Telesin models:

  • Aluminum version: 1.5 m long, around $16
  • Carbon fiber version: 1.2 m long, around $30

The carbon fiber version costs almost twice as much, so I'm wondering whether the extra cost is worth it.

I'd mainly use it for travel, outdoor activities, and filming scenery. I already have a dedicated selfie stick for underwater use, so this one wouldn't be used for diving.

I'd love to hear from people who have used both aluminum and carbon fiber selfie sticks:

Timemore C3S ou C5

Fala, pessoal!

Prensa francesa: Bodum Chambord vs. Bialetti Preziosa

Pessoal, bom dia.

Worried about running with the S26 Ultra

Hey everyone,

I recently upgraded to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. I run about 60km (37 miles) a week, and I always carry my phone with me in a running belt tightly secured around my waist.

Moisture isn't my concern here—the belt is water-resistant, and I always put the phone inside a Ziploc bag first to keep it safe from sweat.

I’ve been running with my previous, cheaper phones for years and never had a single issue. However, since the S26 Ultra is a massive financial investment and packs a much more complex, heavy-duty camera setup (with multiple lenses and Optical Image Stabilization), I’m a bit paranoid. I'm worried that the constant, repetitive micro-impacts and high-volume vibration from running so many miles every week might wear down the OIS mechanisms or loosen something internal over time.

Does anyone else here with high weekly mileage run with their S26 Ultra in a waist belt? Have you noticed any degradation in video stabilization or camera performance after months of doing this?

I’d love to know if anyone has had any issues, or if I'm just overthinking because it's a brand new, expensive device. Thanks!

Dust(?) inside my S25+ camera lens

I noticed this inside the glass protecting my S25+ camera. I don't know if it's just dust or something else.

Has anyone else experienced this, or can you tell me if it's a serious issue or just cosmetic?

Just for context, I've already taken this device to an authorized Samsung service center once to have the USB-C port replaced due to a defect. I’m wondering if this could be related. Thanks in advance!

WiFi Sync & Software Update Error

WiFi Sync & Software Update Error

Hi everyone,

I tried to sync and download a software update on my Fenix 7 Pro yesterday, but I keep getting an error. I can’t sync via WiFi or download any new firmware updates at all.

Has anyone encountered this specific issue? Any tips on how to fix it? I already tried to forget and connect again to the wifi network and restarted the watch.

Thanks in advance!
