Is there a compatible stylus thats not inksense? I have been searching around and i cant seem to find any sources. I already have the Kobo Pen i dont know if that will work

I rlly want to get a BW ereader thats smaller than my KLC. Palma 2 looks really convincing but im scared if i dont use it. I really want to have atleast one android ereader. However I read in big margins n line spacing w super zoomed in. Can i actually do that w palma or should i get boox 6?
Though boox can download other apps. Is it actually good to read comics there?

I love my kobo, but i actually want to get an android ereader too & BW maybe. Im scared if its a waste. I wonder what people do/use their other ereaders for like. when where and what.

I have a big one KLC, but i feel like getting a small one like the XTEINK. I was abt to buy it untill smone said theres not backlight😭. I dont necessarily need a super small one — though this will be great. I do wanna own another one thats small, compact and BW version. Any other suggestions thats a reasonable price? Doesnt have to be a specific ecosystem or software. Whatevr is BW, smaller than KLC (its 7” screen) , has backlight, price is reasonable. Oh yeah supports EPUBS too.

I have only been seeing people with white klc. Lets show love with the black one!! I wanna see those decos & even plain ones. No hate on the white one (i legit have the white one lol)

okay i feel bad about always posting n asking abt kobo but its been 2 weeks since ive owned it xD. I just bought a stylus & a screen protector. I already have a sleep cover to protect the screen & i just bought a screen protector but hvnt applied it. Should I apply the screen protector if i am going to use the stylus & annotate n what not? Is it necessary because i heard some say it makes the text slightly blurry though. If the stylus is safe to use on screen then i wont apply it but if its not worth damaging the screen then i will apply it

Im using a new Kobo Libra Colour Got it 2 Weeks ago

I started reading in Koreader & the batter drain concerns me
started reading at 1.30pm with 97% (the battery just dropped to 97%)
continued reading till 1.55pm 96%
continued (inconsistent read after) 2.20pm dropped 95% n stopped
read about 20 more mins at 3pm-3.20pm it dropped to 94% (0% brightness at this time)

Honestly these are quite drastic changes..
I have :
WIFI OFF
SLEEP MODE WHENEVER I STOP USING
BLUETOOTH OFF
DISABLE WIFI CONNECTING
BRIGHTNESS 0%-30%
WARMTH MIDDLE RANGE

It seems to drastically drop 1% per 20mins.

Do you guys have any ideas what is causing this issue because I read for some people the battery is similar to stock UI while some eats up theirs?

How do I fix this to reduce battery drain because if its impossible to fix then I might uninstall Koreader…
I really care about battery life huhu because I use it everywhere and everytime Im free. I barely charge my device till the end of day or smtimes never.

EDIT : Will run a test on STOCK UI. Everyone says the usage is normal though so thats good! I was scared something was eating it up. But if this is a normal usage then phew im at ease. Thank you all!

Can someone explain what is KOReader? I did search around and its just an integration with new stuffs, and you can sideload your books in KOR.
I have been using calibre to sideload books though. Is there any difference?

recently i asked if KLC is better than Boox. Many said they are the same just Boox has way more things u can try. Now im only curious about the battery life for:

1. Reading without wifi
2. Reading with wifi
3. Reading on a different app
4. Annotating (if it makes a difference)

Many mentioned to me to stick with Kobo, after some research some say the boox battery lasts for 3 days, some say theres not a BIG difference, some say its the same. Do need an input on this

(idk why my texts are broke at the bottom i tried fixing it ) I already own KLC but booxs ecosystem is appealing eso the downloading apps to read manga/comics n etc. However i have a few questions to people who own both or has done their extensive research.

1. How is the screen like? I enjoy looking at the KLC screen but ofc the BW version is better.
2. Can Boox use calibre & support epub, cbz, pdfs
3. I love the simplicity of the UI for Kobo, while im aware boox is almost like an android, how bout their reading interface? Is it simple aswell?
4. Is the annotating style similar?
5. How is the battery life of boox? I use my kobo everyday so… battery life is a huge thing for me.
6. since the OS have apps n etc for boox, are lags a common issue?
7. Any other comparison is appreciated!!

If Boox is exactly like kobo just extra steps + good battery life, i might sell my KLC to get a boox. It depends! Really appreciate a good advice on this!

I dont really use Overdrive or google drive feature. What gave away of me being interested in swapping is the downloading comic sites n etc. Bcs i do read them too.
