Just noticed that 90-ish% of Rewatchables over the past few months are available to stream on Netflix. Not sure how we feel about Bill’s corporate overlords having him only do movies they can profit from??

Planning to finish off his filmography in anticipation for Heat 2.

Apologies for the nerdy filmmaking question, but the look of S3E1 was kind of... poor to me. The heavy desaturation and weird distortion of whatever lens they're using is consistent with past seasons, but this episode had super shallow focus with a lot of the image super blurry. The Lord Dustin scene at min 16-17 was the worst example for me — even parts of his face were out of focus.

Don't mean to be overly negative but just wondering if anyone else is disapointed with the look of the episode compared to GoT and even past ssns of HoTD.

Great stuff on his Chicago theater roots, Pulitzer-winning plays, and collabs with William Friedkin.

How litigious do you think Bill and Netflix feel for my hometown theater ripping off their concept?

Just kidding of course, and in all seriousness, several of the films were those discussed by Tracy during the Chicago Movie Draft last year.
