PhD application in Sweden

Hello, fellow science people from the Philippines! I recently finished my MS. I told to myself that I would rest for a while before applying, but here I am, submitting my first-ever application for a PhD program abroad.
Any tips on how to ace a PhD application in Sweden, or abroad in general?

Comments of my students from the evals

Sobrang rewarding talaga magturo kahit mababa sahod basta alam mong natuto ang mga students mo at na-appreciate nila ang efforts mo in every lectures. These words made me blush.

“Pre/Boss, pautang,” said two people on a Sunday morning

Woke up in a good mood today kasi Sunday.

First ss: kaklase noong college. Not that close kaya nagulat ako na nangungutang sakin.

Second and remaining ss: kawork sa part time noong college. Naging close kami kasi may circle of friends.

Today I show up for the last time

It took me quite some time to finish my graduate studies. I know that I may not be exceptionally intelligent, and my undergraduate academic standing was not particularly good either. However, I had a goal in mind that I was determined to achieve. I did my best to overcome every obstacle I encountered along the way.
At first, I did not want to attend my graduation because I felt that I did not deserve it. I thought that I had taken too long to finish my degree. However, after attending the ceremony, I realized that my journey was not so bad after all. I also heard the stories of some of my batchmates who had taken about the same amount of time to complete their studies.
