Pet peeve with being mixed

I noticed that sometimes, if you’re mixed with black and white, people will treat you differently based on which parent is black or white. Like growing up, a lot of people would bully me and make fun of the fact I’m mixed by insulting my white side, however, I also noticed that when they found out my mom is black, they stopped making fun of me less. Like idk if this makes sense, but has anyone ever experienced this? Like do you get treated differently if your mom is the white parent or black parent? I’ve also had multiple instances where old friends of mine who found out my mom is black would assume that I automatically know how to fight or “throw hands” which is very stereotypical. Sorry for the long rant.

Any guesses on this goofball?

This is my 9 year old gentle giant! She’s a rescue from some sketch guy a few years back and she’s about medium sized, 40+ lbs, and loves to hunt and catch wild rabbits, rodents, and birds. She’s very loyal and loving and her bark is more of a howl. She used to be very energetic and playful. Any guesses on what she could be? I bought a dna kit from Embark that hasn’t shipped yet.
