Using Sling for NHK World Premium

I was able to subscribe and it’s fine for live Tv but I haven’t been able to find recorded programs or be able to record upcoming programs or even record the one playing right now. You can choose to go back to the beginning of the show - that’s all.

Nippon TV Web from the US?

Has anyone in the US had success accessing Nippon TVWeb through the internet (not DirecTV satellite). Here's an AI translation of their website:

The website **NIPPON TV Web Version** provides a service that allows people living outside of Japan to watch Japanese television directly through a web browser.

Here is a summary of the site's key details:

# Service Overview

* **What it is:** A web-based service for watching Japanese television abroad without the need for specialized hardware or apps.
* **Target Audience:** Ideal for Japanese expatriates, long-term business travelers, international students, and their families. It is also marketed as a tool for children's Japanese language education.
* **Technical Requirements:** Because it works entirely in a web browser, it is compatible with any OS or device (PC, Mac, smartphones, tablets) that can run a browser. No installation or setup is required.

# Key Features

* **Channel Lineup:** Includes 61 channels, covering Kanto/Kansai terrestrial broadcasts (NHK, NTV, TBS, Fuji TV, TV Asahi, TV Tokyo, TOKYO MX, etc.), BS channels, CS channels (sports, movies, kids, anime), and a few international news channels (CNN, BBC, FOX).
* **Recording:** Offers a 2-week recording/playback feature.
* **VOD:** Includes access to a library of Japanese and foreign movies, dramas, and anime.
* **Reliability:** The service is operated by Japanese staff who provide support in Japanese. The company, "Little Dragon Tech Co., Limited," claims over 10 years of experience in this field.

# Important Notes & Policies

* **Trial Period:** A 7-day free trial is available.
* **VPN Note:** Users in China may require a VPN for access. If the service is unstable, the provider recommends their separate app-based service, "NEW HOME NET TV."
* **Payment:** Supports credit/debit cards via PayPal (no PayPal account required), Google Pay, Apple Pay, and cryptocurrency (USDT). Pricing is based in US Dollars (USD).
* **Referral Campaign:** There is a referral program where both the referrer and the new subscriber can receive 1 month (30 days) of free service.

# Subscription Plans (USD)

* **1 Month (30 days):** $39.00
* **3 Months (90 days):** $99.00 (15% savings)
* **6 Months (180 days):** $165.00 (30% savings)
* **1 Year (365 days):** $239.00 (50% savings)

Maintenance for 2016 AWD Highlander with 90k Miles

Just bought a 2016 AWD Highlander with 90k miles. The Autocheck report shows a history of regular maintenance, but no detail. ChatGPT recommends I do these maintenance items now. What do you think? (engine oil/filter change already done last week.) Edit: so, now that I've updated this with Toyota's recommendation, should the items not recommended by Toyota yet be done at 90K?

Edit: items marked with **** are on Toyota's 90k maintenance schedule (for a Hybrid - couldn't find the Gas version, but most of these should be the same)

·      **** Inspect/replace engine air filter

·      **** Replace cabin air filter

·      Flush/replace brake fluid

·      Replace engine coolant if original

·      Drain and fill transmission fluid (not a power flush)

·      Replace front differential fluid

·      **** Replace rear differential fluid

·      **** Replace transfer case fluid

·      Replace PCV valve

2019 Highlander or 2026 RAV4

Edit:
2016 not 2019

Assuming 10 year costs are the same considering gas, depreciation, etc which do you prefer?

(Re posting this - sorry for the duplicate if the original re appears)

Better availability soon?

The Delivrd Tik Tok channel says Toyota just told their dealers that there would be an increase in supply soon across all models, including the RAV4. Delivrd says that may cause dealers to offer better discounts. Has anyone seen any such changes yet?

New Frontier Fiber Internet

They just put fiber down our street and now the sales people are going door to door to sell it. Has anyone gotten it recently? Are you happy with it? How much is it after the promo period ends (website says $75/month including WiFi) plus tax. Is it really true, as the sales person says, that they don’t need to run new cable to the house?

My Doctor suggests going from 15 mg every week to every other week when I reach my goal weight. Will Lilly Direct keep the $449 price for four vials if only ordered every 8 weeks?
