I buried this cake in the woods cause it was contaminated, I guess these storms we’ve had in the northeast helped get it going… I came home from vacation and found a few, with some more pins coming up.
It’s crazy because this is my first attempt, and my first harvest.
Ok, this looks right on track.. cake is still moist… I hadn’t checked in about 4 days.. I opened the lid, gave it a mist. What else ? Just keep an eye on it .. lid is upside down and there is a little FAE going on
I Mixed my inoculated (GT) uncle Ben’s with coir on 6/15.. This thing got thick overlay so I forked it a few days ago, and I began giving it more FAE.
This thing looks stressed out, and feels light.. like it’s dry.
I’m not sure what the move is.. I feel like I got a lot of stupid ideas in my head (inject the brick with water.. move to a bigger box and sit it on wet substrate, I don’t even know) and I want someone to coach me here.

I transferred to colonized grain 5 days ago, it rapidly colonized and 2 days later the casing layer was 50% white so I opened, misted, and flipped the top and started 12on/12off light cycle..The mist droplets are sitting nicely on top, and it continues to grow.. does everything look and sound right?
Looking good to go to STB! I mixed this all up (with gloves on), packed it in, and put a light layer of coir on top and sealed her up. Now more waiting I guess. 2/3 bags I opened weren’t good so hopefully this one continues.
Give this bag of squeeze last night and thought it was ready .. i was gonna send it this morning and saw this. I didn’t take any chances, I brought it all outside and it’s now in the woods.
The other bags aren’t quite there yet.. should I just let this one chill for another few days while they catch up?

All look like this and smell great, like fresh soil. I’m very proud of getting 11 bags this far, I put a ton of effort into my research and the environment I’ve made for them.
