“Well it was this way for x amount of time…”

These people piss me off, time moves on. Technology gets better, skills improve, faster ways to do things are created.

Saying that because when you were a kid you didn’t get to use a calculator so kids now shouldn’t is stupid. Arguing that new technology that makes jobs/life easier shouldn’t become normalized because you didn’t get to use it is such a toddler mentality. (I understand after typing these are similar arguments one is just specific). New expectations are created with societal advancement. Kids toys used to have fucking mercury in them, gasoline was leaded…

If anyone has any modern ones please tell me these were just off the top of my head and personal experience.
