First time growing and I wanna get it right

First time grower, had quite some issues along the way with the wrong soil and thrips so I'd like to end this one on a good note. Managed to get the thrips under control with the pirate bugs

Typical question on here I guess

I noticed black tiny dots on some of the under leaves and then on the top of the leaves tiny shiny golden specks.. new to growing so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I started this seed when I found it in my med shop bag of weed. I'm assuming it's a photo. I'm using the Flora series at half the strength for starters and just flipped it like 4 days ago. No signs at all of pests either. And I know I'll get shit for using miracle grow but it's what I had at the time. It's been doing good so far but the lower leaves at the bottom are looking a little sketchy. Should I be worried or stay the course?

Mammoths took off this year. Is it typical for the evening suns to bloom first?

20 inches right now but no signs of pistils yet.

Any suggestions would help as it's my very first grow. I'm using traditional potting soil and regular water with 18/6 lighting. I didn't top it as I'm not sure if it's a photo or Auto..

My buddy and I have been going back and forth on whether or not it is.

18/6 light right now with normal potting soil and normal water. Not sure if it's an auto or photo so and given it's my first grow I think I'm going to let it ride. Any suggestions?

Found a seed in a med shop bag I got so I decided to try it out. First time growing, so I'll take any help I can get. I did get a grow light for it but wasn't sure how far from the plant I should keep it.

Any recommendations will help. Should I keep it in soil or would it hurt to start it in a dwc set up?
