Looking for a Cb to listen in on truckers while on road trips

Hi All. I am not very knowledgeable about CBs, and I do have a pretty decent GMRS in my Van to communiacte with friends on road trips.

I want to get a CB to listen to truckers on road trips, and I was thinking of Midland 75-822 and a good-quality antenna mounted on the roof of my van. Good idea**?** Or any other suggestions? (I do prefer portable, but I will get a mounted one if it's really the best route to go)

I don't want anything to be complicated**, and** something easy to use.

I was thinking about this combo:

  1. Midland 75-822 Handheld CB Radio & Mobile CB Radio and
  2. Midland - MXTA26 MicroMobile 1.5 inch Base Diameter 6DB Gain Whip Antenna with NMO Great for Off-roaders, overlanders, Farmers - Max Power120W Boost Signal Output - 5/8 Wave - 32” Antenna and

Updating my CCW pistols

I can’t wait to update my CCW listed pistols, and replace the Glock with the Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0 Metal and Springfield 3” Ronin EMP, and I’ll just keep the p365 😎

I am not very knowledgeable about Walther's, but I am thinking of buying a Walther PPK (Bond theme preferably) as a collector, and I was wondering which model I should look for without spending a fortune? For info, I am in California, but I have an FFL and a COE (which means I can buy firearms (over 50 years old) directly, including from out-of-state, and skip the traditional dealer transfer process (DROS) within California).

Received the Farer world time today, and the Frederick Constant world time a couple of days ago.

Which to keep? lol I have to say, the Farer for its price is very nice, and good quality.

I bought these Walker’s XCEL Digital Electronic Hearing Protection Earmuffs with Bluetooth, and I am not super pleased with them.

Any suggestions as to mid-tier ear protection? Not necessarily a cheap nor super pricey solution :)
