A few weeks ago I rescued a kitten and I tried to name him Tsvi, posted about it here.. but I couldn’t really call him Tsvi with a straight face, it really is a dopey name. So after like 24 hours I just started calling him Howard. Tsvi is still his Hebrew name though. Also I am not Jewish.
So here’s Howard, in all his glory. He’s about 3 months old.
So I received the Estée Lauder perfume like two weeks ago and I love it, and I’ve written two of the reviews required but I’m wondering if anyone else is unable to complete the Dillard’s and Nordstrom reviews because the link is not yet available. I’ve been checking it every day for like a week because the due date is 8/1 and coming up quick. I also clicked the link for having a problem but there wasn’t a good selection to make regarding the issue (the issue being with the site and not with the product).
Anyone else have the same thing with the links not being available? Or any suggestions? Appreciated!

Not the best pic because I feel like it was longer in other scenes of this episode, but wtf is with Luke wearing his hair in like a mullet-rat tail hybrid? I reeeeally don’t like it, it kind of makes him look skeevy or something to me. I never found him particularly attractive, but there’s something about the way he dresses and composes himself this season, I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it just kind of gives me the heebie jeebies, I don’t know exactly why though.

So I’m reposting it here:
Am I going fu*king crazy??
I am finally getting to the end of this most recent episode (it’s mostly so boring that it took me about 4 tries to get through it because I kept walking away and not listening or caring). But every SINGLE time the Danny drinking thing comes up…. Like, how does this man not see the disconnect he’s making between his drinking and his groping people? How many times can the people around him allow him to say “I’m not the only one who drinks! Everyone told me yesterday they don’t care if I drink!” YES DANNY YOU MORON, YOU CAN DRINK ALL YOU WANT AS LONG AS YOU DON’T **GROPE** PEOPLE!!!!!! How many times are these people going to allow him to bring this argument down to semantics when the OBVIOUS problem is that you’re a fucking creeper, Danny! Yes, all the people on this cast have drinking problems to varying degrees, but that’s not what is at fucking issue here!! THEY’RE not general fucking creeps and so therefore people don’t bring up their drinking to them as a problem! Like, I honestly feel like I’m going crazy listening not just to Danny but to all of the rest of them that keep allowing him to even make the argument NOT about the actual fucking problem.
And don’t get me started on the way he talks to Nia when the aren’t directly around the others. He makes me fucking sick, I feel bad for Nia but my sympathy is tested because she is SO adamant about loudly defending him at every moment of the night. Having to babysit her drunk husband to jump in whenever he acts like a jackass and starts embarrassing himself AND her. He’s disgusting.
ETA: I have been a Lala hater since the first time I saw her on my screen, but I did love to hear her snap at Danny saying “Don’t talk to me like that, I ain’t your wife.” (I hate that she used the word “ain’t”, and her use of it there is indicative of exactly the things that make me hate Lala). She was right. Everyone sees that he treats Nia like shit right in front of them. Lala saying that to Danny, loudly, in front of everyone, was the first time I feel like anyone has acknowledged that explicitly.

I have seen similar posts on here by folks who don’t have a washer/dryer at home and have to bring everything to a laundromat. Mine is only about a block away and the machines are super sturdy and dependable, the people are nice, and I don’t mind *going* there… but there is no way to avoid getting a little bit of other people’s laundry products in every load!
I was washing the very heavy canvas-like cover for my latex mattress pad today, and I did a little abbreviated spa day soak in my tub at home before lugging it down the block and running it through a hot wash with extra wash time and extra rinse. (I used Tide + Oxi powder in the soak at home, and ~2tbsp Tide + Oxi again in the machine, ammonia on the fabric, and Downy R&R in the rinse compartment for the people who are interested, because I know they are there… 😊)
When I went to take it out of the machine, it still felt a little slippery to me, so I’m currently running it through a second time with no detergent, and just R&R in the rinse…. And THIS is how sudsy it is currently, with zero of (my) detergent being used! Now I realize that not everyone at the mat is a huge nerd about their laundry like I am, but it is kind of annoying when I’m feeling like a chemist, diagnosing laundry problems and prescribing dashes of appropriate enzyme potions to make my laundry come out JUST right…. And then I see other peoples’ suds in my drum and I get bummed out 😢
And one more thing.. when I started getting interested in laundry from this sub, I noticed at the laundromat that some people, especially little old ladies, will sit in a chair and just…. Watch their laundry go through the whole wash. No phone, no book, no headphones… just watching the laundry. And they always looked so peaceful and serene to me, so today I decided to take a page from their book and give meditative laundry-gazing a try…… I didn’t get to mediate very long because I wrote this post instead, and now my mattress pad case cycle is finished.
