Had no money for any controller back in 2007. So this painted keyboard, a shitty laptop and a cheap usb headset (for monitoring, while routing the main through the laptop line out) had to do the trick.
The faces of other djs when i set it up in the booth where priceless. Good times. Also proofs, that you don't need fancy gear to get your name out.

I'm very happy with how they both turned out.
The Live Fast Neil Young was also done by the artist many years ago.
Are there any news about the compatibility with Traktor and the CDJ3000X?
I mainly play with Traktor and CDJs plugged into my laptop. The CDJ3000X have been out there for almost a year and still to chance to use them with Traktor. Sucks, since i was in the situation where clubs i played at, had the Xs in their booth even though i explicitly demanded regular 3000s or lower. I fear that Xs will become club standard more and more and i love using Traktor instead of Rekordbox/USB Sticks.
I really hope that NI is actively working on implenting them anytime soon.

Two weeks with a new player and i can say that it was a great decision. Probably gonna switch to better needle some day but for now it is totally fine. I also got it for decent price.
