New Map

Is anyone that plays mainly infantry liking the new map? So far I am not jiving with it. I play mainly as anti vehicle but this map is like liberation peak at times with no way to get around them and flank. And standing still for a few seconds gets me sniped if I am trying to aim guide the AT at a heli.

Is it me, or is the map not worth it for infantry? So far I have only given up on Blackwell and Haganthal, but I don't want to give up if it is just a me problem.

Capping points

Admittedly I had a bad game on this one. But in this short game we got an easy win . But I thought I did okay with capping OBJ's and took out a couple tanks . It's also why I died quite often. But for the life of me I can't understand how these top guys got so many flags in such a short time. I tried to find some videos of how guys are playing the game, but it seems like every streamer/youtuber just plays breakthrough so they can rack up kills . Not many players spend a lot of time in conquest or Escalation playing objectives . Does somebody have a video of gameplay getting this many caps?

I'd like to see the tempo of people that are going around with a two or three K/D and getting this many flags. I think too many years of playing Fortnite my Tempo is too rushed, but if I slow down I don't get anywhere near enough flags to be high on the leaderboard. I usually need to get a ton of kills to get top 8 or 10

Service rates?

We have gone through a huge process of figuring out vehicle costs for our 4 vans, mileage and insurance, and all other repairs for the last year and have split the service rates up according to distances. Our service calls are now from $50 locally to about $225 for longer trips (round 50+kms) depending on distances.

the owner has been reluctant to increase the Hourly rates though but he know he needs to raise them to meet costs. Payroll for 4 techs and two of us in the office/Shop.

We are sitting at $110 now but we are low I know. What are you guys charging hourly that are in companies with multiple vans. Considering our 4 techs are all making between $25 CAN and $40 CAN for our high end guy. Plus benefits and all the costs of having a full time shop open.

In Ontario by the way, north of the GTA.

Hey support.

Here's a tip. When a guy is chasing you around and shooting his pistol at you repeatedly. He's not griefing you. Stop running away. He needs fucking ammo.

Gloves??

Does anyone have any suggestions for gloves to wear while doing high dexterity work? I don't want anything too expensive because obviously I will go through them a lot. But I take blood thinners so cutting myself leaves one hell of a mess, even with small nicks. Doing an ADO the other day looked like a murder scene before I realized I was bleeding ;) from my resting hand on the ladder.

Question about Finding No Drama Squad mates

I was wondering if anyone has had success here or on Discord finding a bunch of squad mates.

For me, I have managed to get to level 400 playing 95% solo, some buddies from work played some in the last few seasons but aren't playing nearly enough compared to me and i already spend far too much time at work with them, and admittedly might be too much already,

I'm a Battledad, and this is my first actual BF game I have played consistently, coming from Fortnite and Valorant mostly for the last 8 years. I'm thinking it would be cool to find a bunch of older relaxed guys (and women sure) that want to squad up. I still like my solo excursions to sit in the quiet and just grind, but I think I want to spend more time playing the game as a team as it's designed to be. I play mostly Conquest and Escalation but dabble in Breakthrough and play all the modes for challenges.

I'm thinking that maybe finding 6-8 guys that can squad up at their leisure and mine would be cool. No commitments or stress to sweat

So if anyone is looking for a 60yr old lifelong gamer, that has too much free time after work and on weekends I'm game. My K/D sucks since i am an engineer with a hate on for enemy tanks and helis that plays far too much as a solo, but I PTFO, I have 26 guns at level 50 and won't talk your ear off. I can help with challenges or just a grind of the game

Timberline core key

Has anyone ever cut a core key for the timbeline cores? My tech is on site and broke his and we are in the process of changing about 40 of these cores to 101T alike.

I know I can order one but nobody has one on hand for today, I can't find any of the DK500 or the TA-KY codes in instacode. I think the key is different size so I'm sure I either need to buff the key short or cut the shoulder back to make it longer but it's been years since I even duplicated one.

Bot Flying server/Portal

Does anyone know of a portal server that has bots flying heli's that I can practice against? The two I have found they just sit and hover, and same with the new range ZUPK7. I want to try and go against moving bots, not hovering bots. It gets a little too easy and not game like

Golmud team balance is way off.

I play anti tank and Heli as an engineer, but th tank buff has really set off a balance issue that so many more people need to playh Engi now. It is next to impossible to find a supply bag or even a Support player on that map. I have never self redeployed so much or just ran into combat and tried to take a tank with just my torch so much before. But without rockets and tank mines there is no point. Either we are going to need far less Assault or recon players. My vote is any sniper that doesn't get double digit assists should switch.

I envy people that can use the same meta weapons all the time.

Just finished the last AR AK205 and the CZ smg. Hated the 205 grind.

I love the challenges, I look forward to doing the dailys and every Tuesday. I've taken up the challenge of getting all the guns now too. I get them to 50 then move on. But damn there are some bad guns. I'm sure my K/D would be better if I could just use the DRS or B36 all the time. The AK205 was really the first grind since I'm not a stay back and pick guys type of player. I play anti tank and anti air and love the run and gun on smaller maps as well.

Moving on to the SMGs and the scar on big maps. Wish me luck

Edit: I shouldn't say I hated the grind, love playing this game now, but it was a tough and sometimes frustrating grind with the AK205

Questions about capping points and deaths.

Long story short, I die a lot in this game. I have made it my mission to take out tanks and it casues a lot of deaths some games, But I also die a lot trying to take OBJ's when playing smaller maps. I finish top 10-12 most of the time, and quite often top 5. But I almost always have the most deaths of both teams.

I notice that the top of the leader board has guys that can take 20 flags to my 10. and I feel like I am rushing into sites and dying a lot more than I want to. Is there a way to get more flags on the scoreboard with having to be the leader taking site? Not sure how some people can go 40-12 with 15 flags. How are you getting so many?

Noticing a trend

So I have started to see when games start to turn sideways, usually in Conquest and Escalation, the team with the most snipers is a losing team that starts to get run over.

I call them snipers because it's always the gys that are 12-3 or 8-2 with single digit assists. If you get a good recon or two, with 25-50 assists it's a much better opportunity to win, because recons can swing a match and really help with OBJ's being taken or held. But snipers add up.

Next time you are stating to feel the swing of a blowout and not before everyone quits to not get the loss stats, check how many recons you have on your team without assists. I think it's very telling.

Restricted or Just high security?

Are these Corbin keys restricted? Customer needs a few padlocks keyed to the maintenance master. I have never seen this keyway.

More Optics

I find for the 1X - 2X group there really is only two or 3 usable optics. I use the OSA almost always, and the Mini flex is ok I guess, I just don't like the dot, it is too dull and disappears often. Also the 1.75x RO-M is good for a longer range.

There is 13 optics 2X and under. I think they need to do a rework. Or am I just stupid and not realize there are people using all those messed up, large frames that block the screen or are so blurry/dark they seem unusable.

I'm sure they have these stats of use on gun attachments. Can we get a few better, more usable optics

Continuous Burst fire ?

Probably a stupid question, but I thought i heard someone on a youtube video saying you can just hold the trigger for continuous bursts so there's no big disadvantages to not buying the 25pt full auto attachment. Is this a thing without macros? KB&M by the way

STF is this?

My tech had to do a gain entry for someone locked inside a security office and brought me this off of a Sargent Mortise 4870 series style deadbolt. He says this ceased and needs to be replaced.

Admittedly, I have no idea what this is and it looks like it came off of a larger thumb turn, but he's newer and didn't remember seeing anything else that it was part of. I checked both sargent and Adams rite with nothing. Any help with a part number?

thanks

I think we need to post it here and get a consensus. I want a Battledad title on my profile. I need dice to add this. None of the titles I have describe me the way I would like.

Anybody in it with me?
