Zepto delivered wrong, stale, and missing items, and then told me "everything is ok" over email.
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to share a recent nightmare experience with Zepto and remind everyone not to let these quick-commerce apps get away with outright corporate gaslighting.
I placed a prepaid order on Zepto, and when it arrived, it was a complete mess:
Dahi: Sent the completely wrong product (received a different brand with missing date of expiry).
Kesar Mango: Delivered completely stale and unusable.
Cream Bell Ice Cream Stick: Entirely missing from the bag.
ZOFF Black Mustard Seeds (Rai): Packaging was damaged, and the mandatory expiry date was nowhere to be found on the pack.
When I tried using the in-app support, it refused to process it and told me to send an email. I immediately emailed their customer support team with clear, undeniable photographic evidence of everything.
Their response? A generic message basically saying "everything is in line/ok on our end" and they summarily closed the ticket and denied any resolution.
They are literally charging people for missing items and delivering garbage, then relying on automated bots to just deny refunds regardless of what the photos show.
I even messaged them on Twitter but again the same copy/paste reply that we'll get back to you...
Got hit with "Thai Defamation Law" threats on Reddit after posting an honest hotel review. Should I be concerned?
Hey everyone,
I recently posted an independent, objective video review of a major international chain hotel but the stay was highly disappointing.
I am an independent travel content creator. While I know Thailand has strict libel laws, this feels like an extreme scare tactic over a factual, visual review at a major corporate property.
For other creators or frequent travelers to Thailand: How seriously should I take this? Is a major global brand like actually going to pursue a criminal complaint over a 2-star video review, or is this just an armchair lawyer trying to bully me into deleting my content? Appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to handle this.
Thanks

youtu.beAtlas Devalued, HSBC Rejected: Is Regalia Gold the next best move for Accor?
I currently have the Axis Atlas, but with the recent devaluations, I'm looking for a secondary card specifically to funnel points into Accor.
I applied for the HSBC TravelOne (1:1 ratio) but got rejected. I am now eligible for the HDFC Regalia Gold.
Is it worth getting the Regalia Gold?
Or any better card? Or should I wait for 6 months for the hsbc travel one?
