I found two of my three under developed hornworms deflated wrinkly, Wet, and dead :( I don’t understand what could have happened they weren’t eating as much as they normally do the past few days

I’m wondering if the food was mixed wrong or something? I used rapashy hornworm mix and followed the directions on the label,, I’m a little heart broken I was really hoping these little guys would make it

I have my one underdeveloped hornworm left he’s my baby and he’s been my favorite for a while now I really really hope whatever happened to them doesn’t happen to him

Kinda click baity title because I’m pretty sure it’s actually dirt clogging up my hornworms booty but my pupating hornworm is the SECOND I’ve found with dirt up their booty and in a bit worried because the only hornworm fatality I’ve experienced so far was from a little guy who was pupating and had the same situation.. if this is normal please inform me I’m very concerned

P.S. I know that I’m not supposed to handle them but I genuinly couldent get a good picture and I’m a paranoid freak 😢

My hornworm has been stuck with a a good bit of shed from molting stuck too his behind :( I was hoping he could figure it out himself but it’s been a few days now and no progress has been made! What should I do? Is it hopeless for this little guy or is there any way I can help ?

I’m very excited for her (haha totally not jealous.. tottaallly) I made sure to immediately show her that she had a hundo and it’s a background starter too so it’s kinda cool looking AND she can mega Eveolve it and she doesn’t really get why it’s so special 😅 but she seems decently excited so YAY!

Not only is the information just shitass from a butt but for all the hamsters that aren’t syrian hamsters it is listed that they do BEST when in pairs. Horrible. There is some research showing that dwarf hams might do ok together but it shouldent even be told too someone as it will give the impression that housing multiple is ok. HAMSTERS CANNOT LIVE TOGETHER IN CAPTIVITY OHH NY GOD IM SO MAD GEUUAJH

I was doing yard work today and found this guy and put him off to the side so I could take some pictures of him to put on inat later I ended up stepping on him without realizing and only realizing a few minutes after, he is still alive and wiggling around but I don’t think he is viable and I really feel horrible

Hi! My Hybrid dwarf hamster bagel has been quite stressed lately due to environmental changes and such! I’ve noticed this preventing in her drooling when handled and biting quite a bit.

I try to keep handling to a minimum for the time being untill she gets settled again in her new enclosure but tonight there was a tornado warning and I was forced to handle her more than usual, she’s currently in a box with bedding in it and she keeps rolling over in the corners and laying on her side. Is this typical stress behavior or something else? She turned a year old a few months ago (if that helps at all)!

Also attached a picture of her new enclosure if it helps at all lol (+ please give me tips and suggestions for her living space)

I feel like I’m just looking into this all too much, hamster anxiety is real lol, but I just wanted to make sure this wasn’t signs of neurological issues
