I was a bit surprised to not be able to find a deeper discussion about food and the odd diet of Sugar in this series.
This started for me when trying to plan some hors d'oeuvres for a finale watch party.
My immediate thoughts were the multiple references to whiskey, papaya, mung beans and of course the infamous cheeseburger.
I wanted to solidify the references and I was mildly surprised about the lack of discussion about Sugar's diet and there being an obvious repetition and significance to the references.
So this post is to serve dual purposes:
So far I am planning:
Vegetarian charcuterie with papaya and mung beans included
Popcorn for the film buff angle
Cheeseburger sliders
Old Fashioneds
Some kind of blue cocktail to reference the eyes, planning on calling it a Polyglot but open to suggestions
Probably fireworks, but that was a massive explosion downtown just now 🤯

We are starting to think it's time. In the last few days our boy has really started to lose mobility. He is 16. His hind legs are failing him and he's falling over more frequently. He's still eating, drinking and taking sub q fluids. He seems a little disoriented and depressed as of late and the equilibrium issues are making it difficult for him in the litter box. Looking for advice/ support if it is time.
