I’ll go first.

The scene where Jim accidentally sucks up Joey the budgie with the hoover and rushes him in to see Anthony 😭😭😭

So I know absolutely nothing whatsoever about monkeys or primates in general but after my mother showed me one of those stupid videos of baby macaques running around and wearing dresses, I went down a rabbit hole. I am not including any links, sources, or any other information as it’s too disturbing. Personally, I am not a big fan of monkeys but I am a massive animal rights advocate. Anyway, without going into specifics, Instagram is definitely *the* place where such violent and obscene content based on monkeys is made and shared. It seems to be specifically targeted towards infant pigtail macaques and baboons. Some of the content I’ve seen and reported doesn’t violate the sites guidelines which infuriates me because not only does it encourage more and more users to engage in the content, it means that more monkeys are at risk. I do not want to mention the phrases and words that these videos and pictures are posted under but I’m confident that most of you already know what they are. Why isn’t any of this content being removed or the users behind them being convicted? It’s a major problem that’s lurking beneath the radar and not enough people are protesting against it. My heart bleeds seeing the faces of those innocent, sweet little monkeys and I wish I could help them.
