Do Chennai Tamils know the Thirukurral well?

My family is from the southern parts of Tamilakam. Do most Tamils from Madras know the Thirukurral really well? Of course Madurai and Thanjavur are much better than Madras, for those who are interested in our culture. However, I am curious if Tamils who grew up in Madras have a deep understanding of the Thirukurral. Currently I'm using mathematical linguistics to write a sequel to the Thirukurral with Gandhian themes, and it'd be great to get your feedback. Dhanyavaad.

Any fanfiction blending HP with Tolstoy (eg. "War & Peace")?

Has anyone come across any Harry Potter fiction incorporating Tolstoyan themes (eg. "Anna Karenina", "War and Peace", "Death of Ivan Ilyich")? We're working on a play blending the two artforms (using computer science algorithms to generate the plot, based on human feedback). We'd appreciate any pointers as to what has already been done. Thanks.

Advice about learning Belarussian language & art

Any advice about learning Belarussian? Which short stories (or films) would you recommend?

Будь-які поради щодо вивчення білоруської мови? Які оповідання (або фільми) ви б порадили?

Svetlana Alexievich is my favourite contemporary Russian novelist, she's from Belarus. I'm sure there are others, which I'm not familiar with. Thanks.

Світлана Алексієвич — моя улюблена сучасна російська письменниця, вона з Білорусі. Я впевнена, що є й інші, з якими я не знайома. Дякую.

What are your favourite HP fanfics?

I'm writing a HP fanfic set during WW2, where Alan Turing is the main character. I'd be keen to hear what your favourite HP fanfics are :)

Books on theory for computer vision models

Are there any books that you'd suggest which focus on theoretical foundations of computer vision algorithms (including deep learning models, and the rule-based systems that preceded them)? Currently my team is working on a book project in this direction. Thanks.

Checkers variants with exploding pieces

I'm working on a website with a checkers variant that has exploding pieces (it could be viewed as a "war game" that can be played on a Soviet chessboard). Do you know of any variants of this? I will use a 5-ply (or 6-ply) algorithm to design an AI opponent, and test if it can find winning strategies (this could be published in a scientific journal). Thanks.
