Ani-cli is my go to but I need some backups. Thanks in advance!
Edit: I meant as in the program/software/site you use that hosts the anime. Not necessarily the video player. Hope this clears things up.
Coming over to android from iPhone soon and have been looking at which android phone to get. My goal is to really use a lot of open source apps and not necessarily change the os itself (just yet). I’ve been seeing that the Google Pixel 10a is a MUST but I wanted to hear you alls opinions on other alternatives. I wanted something with great battery life and midrange in prices. Gonna be using termux and such also. Thanks in advance everyone!
I got a job as a “PLC Technician” a month ago and well…. It’s basically an equipment tech/industrial maintenance job. I got a laptop and everything and when I asked EVERYONE around me including my manager they all said “We don’t really do much plc around here.” Which sucks to hear because that’s the job title I got hired as. One of our machines wasn’t working and they called in an ACTUAL controls guy for a week and I watched him like a hawk asking questions. He did everything I thought I’d be doing. He got it fixed and they praised him so much (he really did help us out a bind) but it’s like they handed me a title that I’m not even going to use or learn as a newbie. My background is IT so this is all new and I’ve self studied plc. Learning the electrical and mechanical is new but the “You need to learn the fundamentals first.” excuse only works for a while. No one even knows how to hook up to any plcs there smh. Any advice?
Got a new position as a PLC Technician. New to this field with BS in IT and AAS in programming. Been pre studying ladder logic and electrical fundamentals. But in reality I’ll be learning a lot on the job. Any tips before my first day? Thanks in advance everyone, this industry is so cool!
Hey all, I’m new but ready to provide VA lines to anyone in need for family friendly projects. Accepting short projects for now to get my toes wet and learn the ropes. Thanks in advance!
I’ve stumbled upon Industrial Automation last year and made a ladder logic program in Codesys and loved it. The job market is rough for entry level and I’m starting to look into the industrial industry because it’s really is fascinating. I see job postings for it want Engineering degrees but I’m willing to learn the blind spots. I have the technical ability at least. Thanks in advance everyone!
Hello all, my wife starts her LPN program this August. Her learning style is more kinesthetic (hands on), audio, and visual. I’ve brought the “Picmonic” app to her attention but I was wondering what are some other similar study resources related to this that’ll help her related to her study style during nursing school? Thank you all in advance!

Hello all, I love the open source community and want to contribute. Thing is that coding isn’t my strong suit as much as I’d like it to be. I’m stronger in IT related disciplines such as cloud, sys admin, Linux, etc than computer science (intermediate python and C#). How can I contribute in others ways than coding? Thanks in advance and all ya’ll do!
