How did the steam sale prices increase?

This is all from this current steam sale. My first transaction failed due to bank issue, the email was sent to me. I tried again today and the prices have been increased? How is that happening on the same sale?

Help with Build specs

Hello.
I am mostly been gaming on laptop for years, now looking to build a rig. I wish to play games like Horizon Forbidden west, GOW, Elden ring, Jedi Survivor and the like. I am hoping to play at 1080p with high setting without any issues. Ultra setting if I can afford it.
I most likely have no idea what I am talking about, but here are the specs I was able to piece together from random research.

CPU - Ryzen 7 5700x3D
GPU - ASUS PRIME RTX 5060 TI
RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX32 GB (16x2) 3200 MHZ
SSD - Micron 7450 1TB
MB - ASUS PRIME B550 M-A WIFI II
PSU - Thermalright KG750 750 Gold
Cooling - Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
Case - ASUS Prime AP202

This all costs a bit much, especially when you add windows license, monitor and peripherals. I was hoping for advice where I can cut down and what I can replace for cheaper while still being able to play on 1080p high settings.

Where I am, there are sites like these that help you plan + buy a build as well. If I am completely wrong, could I have some help planning a build that will meet my requirements on these sites.

Thank you for your help.
I apologise in advance if I have made some really bad errors.

Asus Zenbook Duo ux8406c - top monitor broke. Can't see anything, how do I force it to show up on an external monitor.

I have a asus zenbook duo, model number ux8406c. Unfortunately the top screen cracked. Once I turn it on, I can't see anything on either screen as the bottom screen doesn't load until you login using the top screen.

i have connected it to an external monitor, hoping it would just automatically show up there. No luck. I pressed windows + p, followed by variations of down key and enter to see if I can change the setting to duplicate or external monitor only. no luck.

Anyone has any suggestions/advice? Thank you
