I'm using TB. I was watching a show and an episode started buffering every few seconds on Nuvio. Seeking it to somewhere before 15:00 gave smooth playback, but anywhere after 20:00 was buffering for sure. I tried downloading it from my dashboard but the speed was great when downloading. Playing it over webdav in VidHub also showed no buffering. Another stream of the same episode which was bigger in size, both HEVC mkv, did not buffer for some reason on Nuvio. I tried changing many cache/network settings and in the end only this worked:

Exo-player Native Memory : ON

Custom playback buffers: OFF

VOD Disk Cache: ON, auto size

HTTP/2: ON

Parallel Connections: ON

Connection Count: 2

Chunk Size: 4 MB

The chunk size setting is probably the most important coz it was the last thing I changed when it worked. Zero buffering on the same file now. Posting here so someone else facing similar issue might try these in Nuvio.

I'm on the Essential plan. I played an episode of GoT on Nuvio and when I checked my dashboard, I found that the torrent size was 2 TB and it was cached. It was a collection of all GoT seasons in 4k Bluray Remux. How is that possible tho, since max torrent size limit is 1 TB (only available on the Pro plan)?

NextDNS ad-block dns is blocking TorBox connections now. If you are using NextDNS and wondering why your Nuvio/Stremio is not playing anything, this is probably the reason. I spent an hour figuring out what went wrong. Disabling NextDNS immeditely fixed the issue.

It was fine yesterday. But today, every HDR video I've tried playing on it on Youtube plays in SDR and not HDR. In quality settings, HDR is not written after the resolution. I've already tried the following so far:

1. Unplugged the TV for a minute and then turned it back on.

2. Restarted the TV from settings.

3. Factory reset the TV from settings > System > About.

4. Uninstalled Youtube updates and then tried playing HDR video.

None of the above has worked so far. I've tried playing HDR10 content on another app. It worked fine. Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content on Netflix and Prime also work fine. The issue is only with HDR content on Youtube.

I came across this video today comparing the two. It shows that C7L has worse black levels than C7K and aslo, C7L is darker in dark scenes in HDR10. Also, C7L has more ghosting in gaming (and in general as well) compared to C7K. Is it true?? Did TCL mess up?
