Worst line of the entire series

This is incredibly pedantic, but I'm sure other people have a line that bothers them. There may be worse lines in terms of delivery or context, but in terms of writing, there's no close runner-up for me.

S7e1 when Mike has been shot, Debra says:

> "We are looking at one shooter at a minimum."

Yes? Always? If there is a gunshot wound, there is at minimum one person and one gun involved. How would you have less or fewer than one shooter?

If the line was supposed to reference the dead woman and Mike both, then "we are looking at one assailant *at a minimum*" or "at least one shooter" would maaaaaaaybe make sense, but even then it's weird phrasing. You can't have less or fewer than one assailant, so stating the minimum being the limit imposed by, like, physics doesn't warrant mentioning and it's only the possibility of more people involved that is worth bringing up. "We are potentially looking at more than one assailant" would make sense as a starting point to an investigation because the woman's killer and Mike's killer might not be the same person. But "one shooter at a minimum"?

Is there a line that always bothers you upon re-watch?

Entire W.Va. police department fired after sergeant reports evidence room break-in

Always amazing when a department is so blatantly corrupt that they have to fire eeeeeeverybody.

The "sorry if I made me your type" line

Anyone else find that line extremely uncomfortable given her transition from blackfishing baddie to reanimated corpse?

tl;dr do we think this is about SpongeBob, or her narcissism, or both?

The response from fans would probably be that they mean her leaning into the "theater kid" persona during filming, since that's very much who SpongeBob is and also how they met. That would make sense if the song was on Eternal Sunshine (and would have been a much better lead single than "yes, and?").

This is post-promotion, though. She's not doing pap walks with him or posting loved-up photos or doing anything else to shove the relationship in our faces, but she's also not pushing a "relationship is over, hearts were broken, he did me wrong" narrative yet. I also don't think it's about her current body being for SpongeBob, since she refuses to acknowledge her emaciation and is body checking the whole video.

Personally, I lean toward it being about no ex in particular, but rather her variety pack collection of *types* of exes. Dating a rapper? Here comes the AAVE and extreme tan. Married to a man outside the public eye? Better play up being a sexy wife. Dating a married theater kid? Demure and a bit defiant is the way to go. The follow-up line about how she "barely even tried" feels like a coy way of saying she could have anyone she wants, since entirely changing who she is is so easy for her.

Idk. What are we thinking, snarkers?

The only part I hate about staying medication-compliant...

Is the fear of being away from / unable to take my meds.

I love my meds, and have literally never missed a dose in the 15 years I've been prescribed them. I'm fortunate enough that there aren't any noteworthy side-effects, and that the current dose has kept me 100% stable for over 7 years now. I keep a six-month stockpile just in case of a shortage.

However, I have a chronic / terminal illness that leads to quite frequent hospital stays and a significant amount of time being unable to stop vomiting. Every time I have panic that I won't be able to keep my meds down, or that the doctor on shift won't put in the order for it to be added to my list of medications needed. I spent the entirety of yesterday being ill, and had to wait hours beyond meds o'clock before I could hope to keep them down. It's not like I can just say "eh, I'll just skip a day".

Stability is everything to me, and I'm terrified any time there's a danger of missing my meds. I have missed out on international travel with friends because what if covid 2.0 happens and it's not possible to get back to the US? What if I somehow lose my bag or it's stolen, and I can't get local pharmacies to give me a transferred prescription?

The idea of being on meds every day for the rest of my life doesn't bother me, and I don't have any embarrassment over taking them. But the fear, man.

Just kinda needed to rant.

Like seriously, what the fuck? Parents have authority over their children like cops do over the population, but they'd go to prison if their response to their kid being a brat and wriggling away was to sock them in the face.
