Random Refund Email

Random Refund Email

Anyone get one of these? It seems to be legitimate. It came from help@walmart.com. No suspicious links to click on it anything. Not asking me to do anything.

My only issue is, it doesn’t tell me how much the refund is for. Any idea where I could find that out? I found similar emails on @walmart from a year ago but the email said how much.

If I try to reply, it goes to a donotreply@walmart.com email address.

What is your favorite type of fabric to work with when making clothing?

I'm aware it's essential to use the fabrics recommended in the patterns you use. I'm looking to explore more types of fabric so I'm going to pick a pattern based on the fabric type. What is your favorite type of fabric to use as a beginner?

I've personally worked with quilting cotton and recently light to mid weight linen but looking branch out!

What items have you sewn that would be appropriate in a business casual workplace? I’m trying to build a work wardrobe.

Any suggestions or names of patterns are highly appreciated!

Boxy Bag - interfacing question

I’m making little boxy makeup bag for my friends. I have cut out the fabric and ironed medium weight fusible interfacing to half of pieces. I was thinking these would be the outside pieces. I’m really hoping for the bag to be structured enough that they keep their share when placed down.

Last night, I saw a video where someone used fusible foam interfacing to give structure and create quilting lines. My question is:

Should I use fusible foam for the other pieces and use those as my outside pieces and the ones that I’ve already completed with the mid-weight interfacing as the inside pieces? (foam on the outside, midweight on the side)

OR

Should I add batting to the pieces with the mid-weight interfacing to get that quilted look as my outside pieces and leave the inside pieces with no interfacing? (Midweight and batting in the outside, no interfacing on the inside)

OR

Should I leave as-is with the mid-weight interfacing and stitch the quilting lines only with that and the inside pieces with no interfacing. (Midweight only on the outside, no interfacing on the inside)

I’m using the same fabrics for the inside and outside!

I hope this makes sense!!!!
