Hey guys! I’m preparing for GATE EE 2027 and wanted to get some advice.
Could you suggest the best resources for:
I’m preparing on my own, I sometimes lose motivation studying alone. If there’s any GATE EE 2027 study group/community I’d really appreciate it if you could add me or share the link.
I was walking on the road to get to an auto from behind while using my phone.
When I reached it and I looked up to talk to the driver, I saw this😭
Caught me completely off guard lol
Guys, I bought my first G-Shock (G5600UE solar). The whole idea was simple, get one indestructible, solar-powered watch and be done with watches for the next 10+ years.
This thing is literally perfect. Tough, low maintenance, Solar, does everything I need. Basically endgame.
But now that I actually have it… I can’t stop checking out other watch deals 💀
Why am I wanting more watches even after getting what’s basically a god-tier G-Shock?
I seriously want to stop this before this turns into a watch collecting addiction 😭
Please help
Hey guys,
Tomorrow’s the final show for Obsession movie at PVR. I’m going alone, feel free to join if you’re up for it
Accidentally found an old Orient automatic watch while we were shifting houses, and this one has a lot more story behind it.
My grandfather bought it in Dubai back in the 1980s for my mom. She actually wore it all through her teenage years and even in college, and later took it with her when she got married.
When I was a kid, she passed it on to me. I didn’t understand anything about watches back then, I just loved how unique it looked. The crystal isn’t plain, it reflects light in this really cool way, and I used to sit in class just playing with how it caught sunlight 😅
Eventually, we kept it aside and it’s been untouched for years… until I randomly came across it again today.
Now that I’ve recently started getting into watches, I realized something crazy, this is actually a mechanical watch, and I was casually wearing it as a kid without even knowing what that meant.
It’s in pretty rough condition now, but it feels incredibly special.
I’m currently traveling in a train, and something wild just happened.
There’s a family sitting in front of me with a kid (~ 8 years old). The kid was an absolute riot, not listening to anyone, constantly moving around, and stuffing himself with snacks even though his dad kept telling him to stop.
He ended up vomiting all over the floor. Some of it landed on another passenger’s leg, and a few lovely sprinkles made it to mine too 😭
I was honestly so mad. I just quietly went to the washroom, cleaned myself up, and came back. But the smell man, it’s horrible. And I still have to sleep here tonight.
After some time, his father took responsibility and cleaned everything up himself. They’re getting down at the next station, they could’ve easily just ignored it and left the mess behind. But he didn’t.
That small act really stood out to me. Seeing someone actually take responsibility in a public space like that, it made me feel like we need more people like him.
I set the time on my G-Shock about 20 days ago using an online atomic clock (time.is), and I just checked it again today.
It’s now about 4 seconds behind.
I know Casio officially claims ±15 seconds per month, but from what I’ve seen online, most users say their G-Shocks are way more accurate than that, like barely losing 5 seconds per month or even less.
So I’m a bit confused whether my unit is average, slightly off.
I don’t use bike taxis much, so I’m not sure if this is normal or not. But today my driver was literally watching Youtube Shorts while riding… and even scrolling while driving
Is this actually common?
Bought my first G-Shock, went with a solar model.
Can’t really keep it in the dark, but I also didn’t want to just leave it out in the open.
So I made this watch box with a glass top to let light through. Not the most aesthetic thing ever, but it gets the job done🙂
Hey guys,
I recently ordered a Casio watch from Amazon and registered it for warranty.
After registering, I received an email saying their team would update me on the status within 2 working days.
However, when I log into my profile, it already shows that its approved. The confusing part is that I never received any email confirming the approval.
So now I’m not sure if my warranty actually approved, or should I wait for the official confirmation email?
Has anyone faced something similar?
