Hey there, not exactly a game discussion but related to it.

I’m making a gift for my boyfriend- a watch with engraving. I wanted to engrave some cool quote from Zelda games, and found this one from Sheik (of course):
“Time passes, people move. Like a river’s flow, it never ends. […]”. This is the only part of the quote i’ll include due to lack of space on the watch.

My doubt is - it sounds like a bit of a sad piece taken alone. Once you mention the child’s mind and love turning into deep affection it’s quite neutral in mood, but the first 2 sentences felt a bit sad for me?

For context - I myself haven’t played any of the Zelda games yet, and I’m not sure if Sheik is even his favorite character. I do know his favorite game is OoT and his favorite is someone that appeared only in this game and is a she. So i have a strong suspicion that’s Sheik.

Taken all together, just wanted to ask for some advice- is the quote I chose a good one? Maybe you guys have better or other nice quotes from this game?

Hi everyone. Of course, we all know how fucked up the housing/rental market is. I have started working in Utrecht Science Park a few months ago, and I’m basically spending my second rent money just to get to my job. University barely paying anything for travel, and my holiday hours are half way finished. With combination of holiday hours and Uni’s compensation, i still cannot recover even half of that cost (costs include ns subscription).

I have tried Stekkies from the start, it’s been 3 months. On every offer, whether from payed or free website (which also normally leads to a 1st party payed one), there are, of course, 500+ applicants.

A colleague advised me to get a real estate agent that could find me an apartment, though it would be quite expensive. But is it worth it? Will they ask for ridiculous salary requirements (I mean 5-6x more than rent)? Will they take me if i don’t earn a certain amount regardless of requests? Has anyone had any experience with these?

I’ll appreciate every input.

I in a need of help to soften the fabric of my jeans somehow. They feel good if i tumble-dry them, but it’s not advised by the label, they come out wrinkly afterwards, and eventually shrink. So i air-dry them. Problem is, no matter what i use - softener, vinegar, or both, - after drying out they feel extremely stiff and just like sandpaper to touch.
Anyone has any advice??
My washing conditions are: 30oC, rinse 2-3 times. Just like the label says.

I want to make a gift for my bf, but i just can’t remember what the title was, since he showed it to me in like a tiktok post once, and i can’t seem to find it anywhere.
So here is everything i know:

- it either just came out or will come out soon
- it has strict color palette: black/white/red. So the environment and the characters are black and white, and the blood splashes and maybe some flowers (?) are bright red.
- it’s in a style where the whole thing is in 3d, but it’s drawn over the models i think.
- it should be an rpg game, with swords
- either a 3rd person view or a corner view.
- looked a bit Japanese style to me. Kind of like Khazan?

Please help me, i only seen it once from a video he showed me on his phone. It also needs to be a surprise, because if i ask him about it - he’ll get the intention and won’t enjoy the gift anymore.
