Rejection after rejection

This isn’t how I wanted my month to start. Recently, I applied for a position within my company because I’ve been feeling so stagnant in my current role. I don’t usually complain because it pays well and the benefits are top-tier, but after almost four years, there’s been no career growth. Unfortunately, I got rejected.

Then today, I went to VFS to claim my passport after applying for an EU visa so I could spend the summer with my cousins who are already living in Italy. That got rejected too.

Hay. Kailan ba tayo mananalo sa life?

People treating train/bus seats like footrests

I know this might sound petty, but stuff like this genuinely irritates me. I was on the train and someone decided the seat opposite was apparently an extension of their living room and put their shoes right up against it.

I get that it's not the end of the world, but these are shared spaces. Other people have to sit there afterwards, and nobody wants to deal with dirt and grime from someone's shoes. It just comes down to basic consideration and respect for others.

Maybe I'm overreacting, but I don't think expecting people to keep their feet off the seats is asking too much. If everyone treated public spaces with a little more respect, they'd be a lot nicer for everyone.
Anyone else get irrationally annoyed by this, or am I just becoming old and grumpy?

ITAPPH of today’s sunrise on my way home. No filters, just perfect timing.

Caught today's sunrise while heading home and ended up stopping longer than I planned. There's something about watching the start of a new day while you're finishing your own journey that feels oddly peaceful. The world was still quiet, the roads were mostly empty, and for a few minutes it felt like time slowed down. I know sunrise photos get posted all the time, but this one felt special enough that I wanted to share it. Hope it brings someone else the same sense of calm it gave me.

I Celebrated My Birthday by Surviving India Solo

Solo traveling to India isn’t for the weak.

Everyday feels like an adventure and a challenge at the same time.

India is one of those places na hindi mo lang basta binibisita. It challenges you, surprises you, and changes you.

Solo traveling to India isn’t for the weak—but if you survive it, you'll probably come home a stronger traveler. 💀🇮🇳✈️

Manifested a peaceful birthday and apparently my watch agrees.

This might sound dramatic, but getting an ‘easy day’ notification on my birthday instead of the usual stress warning feels weirdly healing. Happy 27th to me!! 💛✨

First time drinking alone

Lately, I’ve been feeling sad and empty. I don’t feel fulfilled—parang everything’s just blurry. So I decided to go out and drink alone. Sobrang awkward at first, however will definitely do it again.
