I love Snyder, what are your thoughts?

I honestly don’t understand the hate Zack Snyder gets. My brother and two of my friends hate his work and call him overrated, but I completely disagree. I think Snyder is one of the most artistic and visually revolutionary directors in the superhero genre.

What’s crazy is that I actually disliked Batman v Superman when I first saw it. After rewatching it several times, though, I’ve come to appreciate it so much more. It may not be perfect, and I understand the criticisms about the pacing and story being all over the place, but I genuinely love the vision behind it.

We got a broken Batman and a broken Superman, both struggling with fear, trauma, responsibility, and finding their way back to hope. That’s what makes the movie work for me. Snyder wasn’t just making Batman fight Superman—he was telling a story about two damaged heroes finding their purpose again.

I also think Henry Cavill is a much better Superman for that vision than David Corenswet. Cavill brought a seriousness and presence to Superman that I personally connected with.
I wish Snyder had been allowed to finish his universe. You don’t have to love every decision he made, but I think his vision deserved to be completed.

And regardless of how anyone feels about Snyder, I think it’s important to remember that he was also dealing with the suicide of his daughter, Autumn, during Justice League. That was an unimaginable tragedy, and I have a lot of respect for him for stepping away to deal with his family.

I’m not saying Snyder is perfect. I’m saying there’s a huge difference between “his style isn’t for me” and “he’s an overrated director.” Personally, I think his work is far more artistic and ambitious than people give him credit for. I just wish we could have seen the Snyder universe fully realized.

Farewell, my friend

It’s never goodbye, I’ll see you later.

I just sold my Type R to free up finances and to get a car without a car payment. It’s a very sad day for me as I bought this car back in 2023 with 37k miles and brought my newborn son home in 2024, 33k miles later I’m selling it.

I’ll forever cherish the Type R community and it will hold a special place in my heart… this is was a thought out decision that impacts my life positively but also leaves a bit of emotional impact because I was so attached to the vehicle.

Every Type R I came across new or old, I would always honk and give them kudos because these vehicles are fine machines!

Enjoy your Type R, and may my vehicle become someone’s special gift someday.

Farewell, Type R community

I received a lot of criticism for the AI 2nd photo so I deleted the OG Post and kept the original photo.

P.S.

85 hours later just beat it!

Boy, I must say this game really got better the more I played it. At first I was a little thrown off — the controls felt kind of janky and the bosses didn’t seem all that memorable. But the deeper I got into the game, the more it opened up, and by the end I honestly had a great time with it.

You can really tell how much work went into the updates. I’m glad the devs stayed committed to improving the game because it feels way better than the original release. If you’ve been on the fence about playing it, I’d definitely say give it a shot. It’s a really fun experience and it honestly reminded me a lot of Dark Souls 1 and 2.
Not every boss stuck with me, but there were definitely some memorable ones:

Judge Cleric
Lightreaper
Iron Wayfarer
Sundered Monarch
Adyr
Tancred

Even then, none of them quite hit me the same way some Dark Souls bosses do, but overall the game was still fantastic.
My overall score: 8/10
Gameplay — 7/10
Lore — 9/10
Graphics — 8/10
Controls — 7/10
Bosses — 8/10
Story — 9/10

I played the whole game on my handheld, which honestly probably isn’t the ideal way to experience it since it feels made for console. Still, I had almost no issues. It ran great for me outside of two crashes, and nothing else really stood out performance-wise. I do think whenever I replay it, I’ll run it on console since I also own a physical copy.

TLDR: Play it. Great story, great world, and a genuinely fun experience. I’ll definitely be thinking about this game for a while, and now I’m excited for the sequel.
