It just feels numb. Lost most of my money trading options.

I’m 19 now, I was still 18 when I lost most of the money. Spent years saving up, NEVER spending a penny. Every single paycheck would be saved. Invested a lot of it the moment I turned 18.

Then, I discovered options. I was up over $1k on a Micron call in less than 60 seconds. I sold that call, continued trading throughout that day, was at a loss at some point, and ended the day off with around $20 in profit. I’ve been chasing that high ever since. Most trades were pure gambling, just trading for the sake of trading. Realistically, it was a gambling addiction.

After the last crash you see on the graph, I traded almost exclusively on margin. I decided to pay the margin debt off when it finally hit me how much I’ve lost, and now I’m officially broke.

I don’t even know how to feel about this anymore. I’ve been stuck in a rut ever since I started trading options. It feels like the last 3 years were just thrown away.

I’m done for the time being. No more intention of trying to make the losses back through trading.

I’ll make the money back, somehow, eventually. Ouch.

Why was the official Fidelity Investments server on Discord shut down?

Can’t find anything online explaining the decision.

Extremely positive dispute experience.

I see a lot of negative reviews about the Robinhood Gold Card’s dispute process. I’m here to provide a positive one.

Popular food delivery service refused to refund me. I had photos of every single item being wrong and wrote the exact issues in detail. I also had multiple screenshots of my support chat, as you’re required to share proof that you attempted to contact the merchant.

Dispute placed at 10:00 PM yesterday, almost a week after the purchase itself (you must wait until the transaction settles before disputing, if it isn’t a fraudulent transaction). Less than 20 hours later, resolved in my favor. Between that less than 20 hours, I got my statement, so my balance was less than the statement balance due. Paid it off after receiving the resolution.

The only “negative” thing I can say about the dispute experience is that you’re only allowed to upload 5 files at a time per step… I had a lot more evidence that I was willing to provide, lol.

Just made a free practice exam that (hopefully) isn't annoying to use! Looking for some feedback.

Spent quite a bit of time to make sure there was enough content. I'm looking for feedback and ideas.

Online practice exams were one of the biggest ways I practiced for my exam, second to listening to audio while driving. The most common issues with free online practice exams that I had was that the exam was either too short, or it just felt annoying to use, like it was filled with pop-up ads and just felt like user experience wasn't really prioritized.

DebitEarn's National Real Estate Agent Pre‑Licensing Exam Practice:

  • 797 total questions
  • Choose the number of questions per exam
  • Get an explanation after every question
  • Review your answers w/ explanations after the test
  • Dark mode, toggle at the bottom of the page
  • Hopefully not too crazy with monetization efforts that it ruins your experience

If you experience any bugs, have any ideas, feel like there's too much of a certain topic (I tried to make it relatively balanced across topics), etc., I want to know. I want to make this something that people will want to use.
