Direct Deposit

PSA: DO NOT switch over your direct deposit to Robinhood Banking. Your funds will show as pending past the date it says it should be available in the app, but no one will be able to tell you why. This subreddit also has others with the same issue occurring this week, but they still insist on saying to check with my payroll provider even when they can clearly see it having been sent to them on their end. Robinhood has released a half finished product in to the market and apparently don't know how to fix it.

EDIT: It has now fully posted as available. Still past the day it said it would be available in the app and this is also after a Customer Service rep couldn't tell me what was going on.

I might lose out on a house because of Robinhood banking.

As the title says.

My offer got accepted. Found the perfect house. Transferred 30k in escrow but the loan company needs PDF for the transaction.

The only problem I used Robinhood banking. The statement gets generated on 5th of the following month. There is no website , so I can't just do print to pdf. I called customer support thrice , they've "opened tickets" but when I follow up 48 hours later , there hasn't been an update on the tickets.

The incompetence is surprising.

I regret banking with Robinhood. Please let me know if you have any recommendations for a new bank .

Edit : After about 3 days they were able to share a PDF with me.

Anyone else with the Gold Card getting charged interest they shouldn’t? I pay my statement in full every 2 weeks and have never missed a payment. This has happened twice. Robinhood said it was a system error and refunded it both times. LMK.

Update I believe on my last post, I have found the error

It was my fault I didn’t change where the credit card payment was coming from, I’ll take the blame I see 180 people have seen my last post

Robinhood credit card 3% not what it seems

I just realized that 3% cash back on robinhood is just 2% for cash back. I was disappointed with robinhood’s tactics to make you believe you getting more. When I went to redeem I have to spend 21,500 point to get 150$

2% is still good but I just feel cheated with all this grandstanding of showing 3% when they actually give 2%!

Almost Perfect

Robinhood has pretty much everything someone needs in the world of finance. I have my brokerage, roth IRA, banking, and now credit card with them and the whole ecosystem is really nice.

A few pain points for me are:

  1. Times for deposits are slower compared to my other bank USAA, I get my paychecks later now and when I'm trying to deposit a check it doesn't hit right away and I have to wait for funds to settle. Not that big of a deal, just not sure why they aren't working on making it more efficient.

2)No zelle, pretty much every other bank has this but they dont

3)No web interface. This is my biggest gripe, I get that it "can be done" all with the app, but web interfaces are so useful and not everyone wants to use the app for everything, wondering if anyone knows if they're working on that?

Other than that, I am please with what they offer like the high yields, and overall clean UI.

Experience with Robinhood for banking?

Currently with Capital One for checking and savings.

Have brokerage accounts through Fidelity, Schwab, and Robinhood.

Im happy with Capital One and the Savings provide higher end APY. It’s never let me down as well, but looking to simplify.

Robinhood’s relative “infancy” worries me, but boy tho they make their offerings look tempting. I also currently hold the Gold Card, and I feel like I’m not taking advantage of some of the benefits. Any input or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
