Reading ford switched to its own base architecture in 2025 (from previously reliable Japanese Mazda architecture) is that true ?

Has reliability gone down ? Last year they had many recalls but they also won this year JD power initial quality survey.

So I am super confused

Which one is better , reliable for long term ?

Anyone recently bought platinum 4WD with lux package, panoramic roof ?

I can get x plan pricing from my employer. Plus ford is running decent 0% APR , 1000$ off with 2 year complimentary maintenance deal.

How is the reliability? I drove it last year for long road trip and liked it.
