New Game testing at Frisco, TX store: Cube Clash

New Game testing at Frisco, TX store: Cube Clash

This was the last game I expected them to get when I saw it originally revealed at IAAPA. It’s honestly a really unique style of pusher and I commend LAI for trying something new! I’m not sure it will survive testing but it’s fun to play.

Basic gameplay involves dropping a dice-like cube down through one of three spinning wheels, with options such as extra cubes, tickets, or build. Hitting a blue build spot adds one layer to the cube “pyramid” on the side. After enough layers are added the build spots turn into pink “tower” wedges and hitting those slides the whole tower onto the field.

You’re trying to push all of the 6 different kinds of big cubes off the playfield, once you do so the bonus wheel starts. Landing on “bonus chance” gets you to spin the larger center wheel. Overall payouts are kind of weak and it’s not really profitable but oh well, the game is fun!

LG 39GX950B grayscale test

First photo is at 90% gray, second is 85%. I adjusted exposure to match the overall brightness of the monitor. It’s actually very hard to see in person when you’re actually using the monitor.

This eases my one worry with banding as I just wanted to check how it was and then forget about it

This is where it goes.. right??

LG 39GX950B came in today!

In all seriousness, super pumped to finally have a worthy upgrade path from my AW3821DW which has served me wonderfully for the past three years. Recently upgraded to a 5080 and knew that it was time to grab my first ultrawide OLED, first OLED in general at that.

First game is going to be FH6 and I’m so excited!

Forza Horizon 6… Ray tracing or No ray tracing?

For anyone who has jumped into the game already, I need some help.

Been watching some benchmark tests of FH6, and on zWORMz Gaming’s video the game looks pretty nice already with extreme settings and no RT. RT does look a lot better in photo mode however.

I’m on a 5080 and will be playing on the LG 39” 5k2k, so any frames I can get back would be helpful.

For people already playing the game, what’s the consensus? Is RT worth the slightly lower frame rate or can you get by with maxing out every other setting and disabling RT?

I’ll also be using 2x FG and potentially DLSS.

65” QM7, less than a year old, suddenly had these lines appear and a cluster of stuck red pixels. How to fix?

Honestly haven’t used the tv much at all since getting it in June 2025. Was playing a game on it when I suddenly noticed these lines appear. Nothing happened to the tv, it just suddenly appeared.

Already tried a 5 min power reset unplugging it while holding the power button, no luck.

Am I going to have to resort to sending it in for warranty? Or is there another at home fix I can try?

It was bound to happen eventually. Guess I’m not getting my Hybrid Snare Drum that I ordered back in 2019 lmao
