People have their gripes about the looks and proportions, and I kinda agree, but it was a pleasant build.

She looks pretty thick. It kind of feels like they got the proportions wrong.

It’s funny, because I’d seen the purple M2 for the first time a few day ago in someone’s post. Then, I happened to find one, at the bottom of the box…I was giddy! Unboxed it and it’s even better than I imagined.

Wife inherited her Dad’s ‘69 CJ5 with the 225 Dauntless. While repairing some of the oil leaks, I found rust in the valve covers and along the inside edge of the heads. From the looks of it, I don’t think the intake or valve covers have been off in 50-years. I’m going to restore the valve covers but, I’m not sure what to do with the heads, just yet. I’m hoping to clean them up as best I can because it runs and drives fine.

Not my design but, it turned out great.

In 30-years. It was fun, even if I do feel a little guilty.
