Optimistic jams

Dispersed camping food storage
Hey yall :) Headed out next month and planning on dispersed camping while waiting to lock in a wilderness permit (coming in on a Monday night so 🤞)

Dragonflies at Gaviota
Took a drive out to Gaviota yesterday evening and was gleefully surprised by how many dragonflies there were! Thru the campground, around the tressels, flirting with the surf, keeping those braving the sand in the wind company... so many dragonflies! I was curious if anyone knew what may cause them to congregate there especially considering how windy it was (even for Gaviota standards). Thank you in advance for any feedback ♡

Lemmy's mouse
Our 8 year old lil' boy has had this stuffed mouse since he was a kitten. He has free roam so this thing turns up EVERYWHERE- the driveway, the neighbor's house, the other neighbor's house, inside the car... but it always finds its way home after all these years.
He proudly announces it as if he were bringing in a kill. Until he's congratulated on his "catch" he will continue to demand accolades lol
