1930 Ford Coupe Austin, TX to Boulder, CO

Car needs picked up before July 20 and dropped off after the 23rd. It’s a hot rod… running and driving. What am I looking at for costs?

Replacing my LG UltraFine Monitors

OK fellas... Right now I am using one 27" LG UltraFine (27MD5KL) in horizontal and one 21.5" LG UltraFine (22MD4KA) in Vertical. I am a writer and photographer by trade using the latest 16" MacBook Pro as my main machine.

I would like to replace the dual monitor setup with a single monitor for a cleaner setup, but I'd still like as much screen real estate as I can reasonably keep.

My initial thought was to bite the bullet and get a 52" Dell Ultrasharp, but I'd rather keep the budge to around $2000 and as I understand it, the Dell's low PPI isn't great for photography. Plus, while 52" would be nice, I don't know that I need something that big.

What would you guys recommend?

Mediavine Vs. Freestar

Hey folks… network of sites focused on automotive, tools, and DIY stuff. Been with Freestar for over a decade, but have seen performance drop off. Thinking of giving Mediavine a shot. Thoughts? Advice?

Slim Cyber Surgeon?

Ok guys… I wanna SAK with:

-scissors
-bit driver (with storage from cyber tool)
-replaceable blade (would love a utility blade, but I think a scalpel is my only option)

I’d like it to be either 91 or 93mm - no preference for either… I just want it as compact as possible.

Now, I know this is all possible with a 91mm and an aftermarket scalpel holder. BUT, I noticed a guy on YouTube built a 93mm with a backflip enabled scalpel. Of course, the cyber bit driver won’t work in a 93mm.

So, I guess my question is… Can you do a backflip opening scalpel in a 91mm? If so, who’s the best custom guy to holler at for such a job?

▲ 3 r/SDSU

Hi everyone!

I’m from San Diego and I’m super excited to be attending SDSU next year!

Since I’m a local student, I know housing isn’t guaranteed. When I tried to apply, it said I was on an interest list, so I called the housing office. They told me that because I’m local, I’ll have to wait and see if I get off the list. I asked what that means for roommates, and they said that even if I do get housing, it would likely be after the roommate selection window closes — meaning I’d probably be assigned a random roommate.

The problem is I already found two girls I really want to room with.
Does anyone know if there’s any way around this? For example:
•    Can you request to switch roommates after assignments come out?
•    Has anyone had success coordinating a swap with a random roommate?
•    Or is there any way to still link with specific roommates if you get off the waitlist late?
I’ve heard at some schools people are able to switch after the fact, but I’m not sure how that works at SDSU specifically.
Any advice or experiences would really help — thanks!!

Hey guys... I want to give Roxon a try and here's what I need:

  1. A utility blade
  2. Scissors (small will be fine)
  3. A 1/4" bit driver

And that's it really... What's the smallest possible form factor that this will stuff into? Doesn't seem like the utility blade will fit in a Flex Companion... And the 1/4" bit driver doesn't fit into the Flex Shears, so...

Any advice?
