I am looking at different options for learning coding at home but using containers. Containers use a bit of memory.
I've been looking at Windows but realised that most places I've dealt with use Mac or Linux. So makes sense to go straight to that.
Do they do Linux? Anyone done this?
Looking to pay for a car with a 5 year loan. There's no guarantee I will pay it off early although that would be the plan. Someone told me that it's too long for a car loan. They said because at the end of it you have nothing. I'm not looking for justification for getting the loan, (I'm not trying to sell the idea to myself) but I'm interested in opinions.

Can anyone remember a helicopter crash off NI before we heard about the peace deal. It contained senior UK military personnel.
I remember it because they thought it was terrorism initially but was mechanical failure. It disappeared from the news. Then we started to hear more about the work on a peace deal.
I wonder if the loss of people onboard was an important factor in moving on with the peace. My conspiracy theory self used to wonder what the full story was.

I've got some 30mm buttons that have a thread. You can pop the cap off and put a label in. Anyone using buttons which click into place rather than use a thread but also support the adding removing of the cap.
I cannot find any. I can see that my buttons are longer and not sure how a click in place could do it, but someone might do it.
I've been reading about Pi focusing on industrial use as opposed to hobbyist. I'm assuming education is still a main customer too.
How are Pi being used in industry? Just curious. I assume it's the compute model but are the Pi 4/5 units being used in volumes in industry too. What are they used for. I'm thinking about the effort in making a bespoke setup on the drives for these use cases and the physical installation too.
Just looking into the different decks or a combination of them.
I thought the decks worked by pressing a button on it simulated a key press.
That seems totally inaccurate! Plug ins can pick up events and change the status of the deck. Is that right?
