Best first time visit location

Looking to do a solo trip about 4 days. not sure which part to visit to! Either a beautiful beach area or somewhere with Mountain View’s. If I can get both experiences that’s a plus!! I’m not looking to do the touristy things,just relaxing stress free trip. I really want to find a local to find those hidden gems! a rental vehicle from airport is the go-to way?

Fixable? Just found my first chip! looks like something flung across the intake cover and hit the tank. very small but the close up image can see the edges. Will it spread out?
